The Hidden Story of Raub's Musang King Farmers (Pekebun durian - Lembu Punya Susu, Sapi Dapat Nama)

For the durian farmers of Raub, seizure of their lands, repeated rejection to apply for land titles, access to their orchards blocked & torching of their durian sheds is a form of oppression by the Pahang government. But for the Pahang government, the durian farmers are trespassers.

As for the durian consortium, which is a joint venture between the state government’s development arm known as the Perbadanan Kemajuan Pertanian Negeri Pahang (PKPP), and the Royal Pahang Durian Group (RPD) (companies aligned with Pahang royalty), the durian farmers refusal to agree & accept the consortium's demands to manage their farms, is unacceptable.
