What he wants is Muslim countries having Veto powers - God forbid!

Malaysiakini : The veto power held by the P5 (Permanent Five) countries in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) should be more inclusive, said Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

“The current setting is grossly unfair. There needs to be representatives from Latin America and Africa,” he said, adding that reforms of the United Nations (UN) have been in discussion for over five decades.

Vijay47 : Anwar Ibrahim, you seem to have embarked on some strange mission to transform yourself from the pathetic to the ludicrous and on to the bizarre, a feat you have accomplished with great success.

Perhaps you should remind yourself that you are prime minister of Malaysia, a small south-east Asian country once famous for being world Badminton champions and now better known as the font of the 1MDB scandal.

We Malaysians are aware of you as we the ones saddled with you as our prime minister, but to the rest of the world, the question that comes to their mind when they encounter your name is “Anwar Ibrahim? What is that?”.

Don’t you think that it is about time you shed your delusions and instead focus on what you unfortunately are destined to be at least for the moment – Prime Minister of Malaysia? Earlier, you appeared obsessed with Hamas and Palestine, never failing to make sermons about them and rushing to the Middle East whether invited or not.

You seemed victim to this myth that without Anwar Ibrahim, the world would not exist. You even proudly crowed that at some god-forsaken conference in Peru, you were the only voice spouting about Palestine. You blithely forget that being a solitary spokesman reveals much about you and your inclinations.

So now your overwhelming concern is the UN Security Council and its membership. And what statesman-like philanthropy! You have started speaking about Africa and Latin America - truly, sir, you are a self-appointed man for all nations!

Stay home, Anwar Ibrahim, attend to the many curses and challenges the country faces. And in case you forgot also, one of the state governments may be on the verge of collapse. No, I don’t mean Gaza. It might be amusing to be tilting at windmills but no fame awaits you on that score – Don Quixote beat you to it. Years ago.

Now, you want to lecture the five (5) permanent UNSC countries with nuclear weapons? Your dream to replace Guteres in UNSG?
