“Our choice must be our choice” Once again, S Jaishankar shows mirror to West for pressurising India

External Affairs Minister of India, Dr S Jaishankar on December 09 addressed the audience at FICCI’s 96th Annual Convention. He talked about India’s diplomatic ties and without mentioning, he slammed the countries condemning India’s energy purchases from Russia.

He said, “Diplomacy, international relations, good ties, friendships, are not about giving other people a say in your choice. Our choice must be our choice. However, difficult it is. When it came to our energy purchases, our national choices and national interest, were supposed to be subservient to the political correctness of other countries, who by the way, had made their own arrangements.”
