My late grandfather was Border Scout back then. Sad not to ever heard any story about his experience because of we never been together since my grandmother separated with him. Just met with him for first n last when i was child. Very proud of these unsung heroes.
Corporal Nyopis.....Di kampung saya ada seorang yg pernah mendapatkan PGB. Mendiang Paul Nyopis meninggal pada tahun 2013. Cerita rasminya dia pernah terlibat dengan pertempuran di Tondong, Bau yg membuatkan mendiang dapat PGB. Kalau dari cerita org kampung banyak juga operasi2 yang dia terlibat. Rasanya dia satu2nya dari etnik bidayuh yg pernah mendapat pingat PGB kalau tak silap.
