Malaysiakini : Sacked Umno leaders Khairy Jamaluddin and Shahril Hamdan should join DAP, said Ong Kian Ming.
According to the former DAP MP for Bangi, this is because the party needs prime minister candidates. "Both of you fit the bill," he told the two former Umno leaders during a podcast aired on Youtube this afternoon.
The overture was met with surprise and laughter from the hosts. Ong said this in response to Khairy asking him if he and Shahril should join DAP and if yes, why.

MaoTuckTeng : No laughing matter. Khairy’s No1 priority is KJ and the fastest route to power and pomp. OKM can indulge in some unrealistic punditry but it is a very silly one.
Absolutely Nothing in KJ’s political history that says that is up for a political struggle for the betterment of all Malaysians, many of whom can’t make a square meal after decades of the country’s oil riches being squandered.
