member Mohd Razlan Rafii has lauded PAS' refusal to cooperate with his
party as it meant Umno can make fewer compromises.
In a recent interview with Malaysiakini, Razlan pointed out a stable government cannot be built on compromises and political chess manoeuvrers. Citing
the previous administrations as examples, he said several PAS leaders
had to be given government positions even if they were not qualified.
"Can you imagine a party president who cannot work for his country and yet (the prime minister) had to give him a position? "(PAS president Abdul) Hadi Awang was given a position with
ministerial status purely because of politics. We needed his support, so
we gave him a position.
"Even though he does not do any work, we had to give him a position. This is just one of many examples," Razlan (above) added.

He alleged that similar arrangements happened during Pakatan Harapan's 22-month administration. However, he claimed that BN does not practise this sort of patronage.
iammi : We have been saying that from the very beginning!! And UMNO is complicit in using rakyat money to give him "gaji buta" for his support.

First, let me say this, the complecent PM is to be faulted cause he allowed a non performing minister to take all those salaries and perks paid by tax payers!
He really thought these were his grandfathers money and had total disrespect to the tax payers.
Then, let me also say, this hopeless PAS minister did nothing and he happily collected his salary and perks without being guilty - what did his religion teach him?
Such is the hypocrisy of PAS and its leaders.
Finally, both PAS and UMNO should be voted out come GE15 as they themself admit to these gross negligence by themselves in governing this country!

PurpleJaguar0553 : After all those many words one thing belies Razlan is his lack of confidence in UMNO going solo. UMNO statements so far while chiding PAS masks their hope that PAS will work with them as they are not confident they have the support of an ever aware electorate and a deep seated fear that the turnout will actually be huge.
They also lack any charismatic leader - in Melaka and Johor they had Najib. Who does UMNO have now on the national level except may be Zahid who is ineloquent at his very best and saddled with 47 corruption charges involving charities for orphans.

He is telling the rakyat in their face that he as the government has wasted and squandered rakyat monies in income for idiots and for their pocket money and for their many wives pocket money.

JazliSalleh : Razlan, Hadi has always been a kaki klentong. From past events, it is quite revealing that his real motivation is and has always been money. He cunningly camouflaged everything under religion. What he had done is that he tarnished the good name of our religion and all our followers. Useless guy.
