Democracy, Secularism, living in a Non-Muslim country--all are Un-Islamic.

Democracies like in India, UK, Australia US etc. all citizens irrespective of their religions shall have only one law to follow. Practicing a religion is an individual preference. In fact , in these democracies the government is free from all faiths. If the government for any reason want to get involved in the affairs of any faith , then it should be done without the expense of other faiths.

One particular example is the recognition of the marriage practices for different faiths and communities. They are all different and yet the democratic governments have no problem in accepting all these different marriage practices. There are a few more like this. But when it comes to civil and criminal codes all citizens have to be abide by same laws. Period.
