Jihad Watch : Jihad terrorists keep explaining to us that they’re committing acts of violence in accord with the teachings of Islam; then Dr. Mohammed Awad Al-Hassan and so very many others like him assure us that the jihadis are wrong.
Read it all here or at the link....................What is Dr. Mohammed Awad Al-Hassan doing to explain to young Muslims who might be inclined to join terror groups that they’re misunderstanding their peaceful religion? He didn’t say. At the UN, he was addressing primarily non-Muslims, not Muslims.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mohammed Awad Al-Hassan sounded all the usual themes: jihad terrorism comes from poverty, racism, and “foreign occupation” (i.e., Israel is bad), not from Islamic texts. To think otherwise, despite the Qur’an’s numerous exhortations to fight and kill unbelievers, would be “Islamophobic.” The West must limit the freedom of expression and accept Sharia blasphemy laws in order to demonstrate that it respects “the religions, sanctities, and symbols of all peoples.”
