Massacre in a Holy City Jallianwala Bagh

A hard hitting controversial documentary exploring the events that lead to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919 in Amritsar and the subsequent effect on the country.
The single most bloody event defining the British Raj, in which hundreds of innocent unarmed men, women and children were mowed down within ten minutes. Following closely after the massacre was the dehumanising curfew, crawling and flogging orders.

Nigel Collet, author of 'The Butcher of Amritsar' gives a detailed character study of the disgraced Brigadier General Reginald Dyer before, during and after the massacre.
With an observational point of view on this documentary, every effort was made to make it non biased, yet two major British History television channels refused to touch it claiming "it isn't a subject area we cover on our channels."
