Just guessing here, but I would bet that the next job he gets and salary would be based on how good his acting job was in the video above. Clearly he doesn’t give a good God Damn about the public or his own rules.

So his apology likely means nothing at all. We will have to wait and see how he gets positioned after this. The media really came out against him though. They should have done so against Neil Ferguson as well, and used what he did to end the policies he created. As they should do now.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has accepted an apology from Health Secretary Matt Hancock after pictures emerged of him kissing an advisor in breach of his own rules on social distancing. Boris Johnson says he considers the matter closed but the opposition have called for Mr Hancock's resignation. Mr Hancock, who is married, was snapped kissing Gina Coladangelo but UK COVID-19 laws state if the activity is not reasonably necessary it is against the law.

In a statement Mr Hancock said he accepted he “breached the social distancing guidance” and apologised for the act. The health secretary faces a penalty notice or unlimited fine if he is found to have broken the law.
