Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan blames women wearing ‘small clothes’ for sexual violence

Jihad Watch : Where might Imran Khan be getting his ideas about women’s rights? See HERE, which refutes the frequently-told lie that Islam respects women. With specific regards to women covering up, the Quran teaches (contrary to the frequent assertion that “coverings” are cultural):

(Quran 24:31) And tell the believing women to reduce of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons, their sisters’ sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.

If a woman does not cover up, she is fair game to be assaulted (as Imran Khan just reiterated):

(Quran 33:59) O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused.

Khan made similar comments about women encouraging sex assaults by how they dress, “stating that sexual violence was a product of ‘obscenity,’ which he described as a Western import.”

Imran Khan is a known defender of Islamic supremacism, and is fighting tooth and nail to export his country’s Islamic blasphemy laws globally. In his view (which is supported by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation), “Islamophobia” is anything that insults Islam and hurts the feelings of Muslims. This means that to call out abusive Islamic blasphemy laws and Islamic teachings about women constitutes “Islamophobia.”
