Stand-off in South China sea: Indonesia's stern message to China - Malaysia take note how it takes down China, Hello Malaysian Armed Forces don't be wimps, learn from this!!!
Amidst the crisis in West Asia, the maritime stand-off in South China sea has largely been ignored in the media. In the last week, Indonesia gathered naval troops near Natuna islands & forced China to retreat after Chinese vessels intruded into Indonesia's naval boundaries. WION's Palki Sharma explains.
Remember Malaysia's umitigated disaster in Lahad Datu? We were basically Pussies!! We were screwed by a rag tag bunch of pirates. We of course had incompetent Generals, basically pen pushers!! What I am angry about is our people did not have to lose their lives if only our politicians had some spine. As Clausewitz said "War is a continuation of Politics". You think our PM, Defence Minister or the great Home Minister have ever heard of that saying? What were our politicians thinking?
A nation of sheep led by a tigers, is not what we are. We are a nation of tigers led by docile sheep!! I am not insulting the sheep. So what more do you expect? Expect more deaths. If they, the sheep, bring religion into the equation, we might as well import Pakis and Ragheads into Sabah to add on to the Sulu pirates. We should have struck using the Malaysian Armed Forces with great audacity and at will to bring terror into the hearts of these Sulu pirates who think themselves hardy warriors.
The Police did not have the assets to destroy them. Those Sulu pirates were with automatic weapons and mortars, which killed two of our people. They had frigging mortars, for f***sake!! Najib and company were handling these terrorists with kid gloves, using the Police who are trained to handle internal security situations like the Bersih or Hindraf rally.
If that ain't chutzpah, I do not know what is. The blood of the two brave dead policemen should be on his hands too.
An issue of territorial occupation in which Malaysia should have sent in the Army in the first place but instead due to some lame brained and mentally challenged Ministers we expect the Police and Immigration authorities to handle it with kid gloves. Look at what happened?
Leading three weeks into the controversy, it blew up in the Home Minister's face! Will the Home Minister take responsibility for the deaths of these brave men, as he did not hand over the tasks to the Military. The Military knows that. It should be their job, as it is an external threat, they are equipped and trained for this. I am sure any soldier worth his salt is raring to go.
This should be handled by the 5th Brigade Commander without sparing all the niceties. In fact there is a Tank Regiment in Kota Belud, that would make it all the more easier, minimizing the Malaysian casualties and maximizing casualties amongst the Sulu pirates.
