France: Girl, 16, receives death threats and “200 messages of pure hatred a minute” for insulting Islam online

According to his statements, a young Muslim man made advances to him. She dismisses him. He then treats the high school student, who claims his homosexuality, of “dirty dyke” . Mila responds by calling the Qur’an “religion of hatred” and adding, “I hate all religions”. Mila has since received numerous death and rape threats.

Some internet users, who recognized her, revealed her identity, her address as well as that of her high school. The case took on such proportions that the teenager complained and was dropped out of school.

The public prosecutor of Vienna opened an investigation for “death threats” , entrusted to the section of research of the gendarmerie, competent in the matter of cybercrime. Regarding Mila’s remarks, the prosecution also opened an investigation, for “incitement to racial hatred”.
