So now she can make recruits at will at such marches and demonstrations. Good thing the British authorities, as alert to the sensitivities of Islamic supremacists as ever, are so concerned about her human rights.

It is rare, however, to see a judge actually ordering one of these Islamic supremacists to stand. Is he aware that in doing so, he is forcing Ricardo McFarlane to transgress a tenet of Islam, and as such has become an “Islamophobe”? Apparently not, since he said: “That isn’t in breach of any religious principles I’m aware of.”

Meanwhile, British authorities should become aware of and study the fact that so many converts to Islam get the idea that their new religion makes them contemptuous of the authorities of their home country. But they won’t.

A Muslim convert accused of preaching sharia law in central London was ordered to stand up for a judge who told him: ‘This is not a court of religion.’ Ricardo McFarlane, 30, allegedly breached an ASBO made in February 2014, which barred him from approaching members of the public ‘in order to promote sharia law’.

McFarlane and a group of up to 20 other men are said to have set up a stall outside Topshop in Oxford Street on March 25 last year and called for strict Islamic laws to be imposed across the UK. He is also said to have gone to Tooting Broadway Station on April 4 and Kingsland Road in Dalston on April 16, 2016, to set up similar stalls. He denies one count of breach of an ASBO and was due to stand trial at Southwark Crown Court today.

The bearded defendant, wearing a green and gold robe, told the court usher he would not stand for ‘any man’ before the hearing began. Judge Martin Beddoe noticed that McFarlane, who is on conditional bail, did not stand up when he entered the courtroom. ‘If Mr McFarlane isn’t going to treat this court with respect then I might have to deal with him differently than to release him on bail,’ he said before a break in proceedings. He denies one count of breach of an ASBO and was due to stand trial at Southwark Crown Court today.

Roy Hedlam, defending, said: ‘Because of his religious belief he believes there is only one person who he should bow to.’ Judge Beddoe continued: ‘That is as may be, but this isn’t a court of religion, this is a secular court and it expects to be treated with respect. ‘That isn’t in breach of any religious principles I’m aware of.’

McFarlane stood up in the dock while judge Beddoe was speaking, prompting him to say: ‘He’s very kindly standing up for me because I’m about to go.’ The defendant stood up in the dock during the rest of the hearing. His trial was adjourned until the week beginning 11 September because a witness was unable to attend court.

Judge Beddoe said: ‘I’m sorry your case hasn’t been able to advance today, but you know the reasons why. It is now in the warned list for the 11 September.’

In the context of the follow-up and continuous statistics of the Jerusalem intifada, in the fourth week of August 2017, the Intifada site monitored 5 attacks wounding 3 Zionists in various parts of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

In the town of Teqoa in the Bethlehem governorate, a Zionist soldier was injured by the stones of the youth of the uprising, after the clashes that took place in the town.. In Shu'fat refugee camp in East Jerusalem, a settler was injured by stones thrown at him during clashes in the camp.

In the town of Housan, Bethlehem district, a settler was injured by stones thrown by the village's residents. The Zionist occupation forces claimed to have thwarted two stabbings in the city of Ramallah and the occupied city of Jerusalem.

During the fourth week of August, a group of young men in the occupied West Bank attacked Israeli occupation forces in the occupied West Bank with two explosive devices at Rachel's Camp and Aida camp. Any one of these attacks, motivated by racism, would be front page news in the US or Europe.

But Palestinians are expected to act this way against "Zionists" or "settlers" (meaning Jews.)

How many remember the much more deadly jihad attack on the Madrid train system in 2004? The nearly simultaneous bombings aboard four commuter trains killed 191 people and injured more than 1,800. But, unless you live in Spain, the Madrid train bombings passed out of your mind years ago, and if you’re under twenty-five, you likely never knew about them in the first place.

When a spectacular terror attack occurs, the average person is temporarily alarmed, but then settles back into a state of complacency until the next major terror attack triggers the alarm once again. But this cycle of alarm-complacency-alarm-complacency doesn’t bring us any closer to understanding the underlying problem or solving it. Indeed, it conditions us to live with a certain level of terror.

We know that the jihadists will strike again, but we also know that the odds are low that we will be among the victims. And so we manage to get on with our lives. As long as bombs are not going off in nearby subways or buses we stop thinking about jihad.

A Palestinian refugee receives a budget four times larger than a Syrian, Iraqi or African refugee, this according to a study conducted by the Abba Eban Institute of International Diplomacy at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya.

At the end of last week, UNRWA released its annual financial report, which stated that in 2016 the organization spent an average of $246 for each of the 5.3 million Palestinians it defines as refugees, while UNHCR spent only a quarter of that, $58 per refugee. In addition, the data show that UNRWA employs some 30,000 people, while the World Refugee Agency, which handles tens of millions worldwide, employs only 10,000 people.

Former Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Ron Prosor heads the Abba Eban Institute, which formulated a plan of action for structural changes that will improve the treatment of refugees around the world by merging UNRWA into the UNHCR. "Consolidating the budgets and manpower of both agencies will lead to better treatment of refugees," Prosor said. "In Jordan, for example, there are 44 clinics that treat refugees from the civil wars in Syria and Iraq, out of 233 clinics that are required for this mission. Alongside them are 25 UNRWA clinics that ignore Syrian refugees and care only for Palestinian refugees.

"Uniting the resources of the two agencies will enable more quality and efficient assistance, and contribute to a solution for what that the UN itself has defined as the most serious refugee crisis in history."

They have done so by methodically gaining positions of power within those fields and then going out of their way to only hire those who thought like them and more importantly, acted like them. The irony that many of these liberals made their names or launched their careers fighting discrimination is not lost on them.

Two of those being book publishing and sports.  Again, while the liberals and the far-left may not want to embrace this truth, it is a fact that the vast majority of "mainstream" book publishing is controlled — with an iron fist — by liberals and the far-left.

With that virtually unchecked power, has come a goal to censor conservative and Christian authors. Nothing is ever admitted. The owners and editors who run these publishing empires simply publish fewer and fewer conservative and Christian authors in favor of much more politically correct and diverse writers who simply reflect their views.

This is the year when reasonable men surrendered to unreason — when political tribalism trumped human decency. The primary tragedy of Charlottesville was the loss of a young woman’s life. The secondary tragedy was the distortion of our political culture.

The president of the United States actually declared some portion of a collection of neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and alt-right white nationalists to be “very fine people.” He just couldn’t bring himself to completely disavow men and women who’d supported him since the day he descended down the escalator at Trump Tower. Yet rather than doing the easiest and most sensible thing in the world — condemning white supremacy while also condemning political violence on the far left — some portion of the left-wing intelligentsia actually decided to embrace their own thugs.

They supported Antifa. They decided to lionize some of the worst people in American life. And in so doing, they actually compared them to the American heroes who stormed Omaha Beach. The tweets below, as the saying goes, did not age well. First, here’s Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, one of the best and most respected political journals in American life:

We understand the hesitation, since many of the beneficiaries of this amnesty have sympathetic stories, but as a matter of fidelity to our constitutional system and his campaign promises, Trump must end DACA.

If we are going to amnesty an entire class of people, it should obviously be done through the democratic process and, in our view, happen only in exchange for reforms to the immigration system. DACA contravenes the elementary principle that the legislative branch ought to pass laws and the executive branch ought to enforce them. In 2012, after Congress rejected the DREAM Act, President Obama issued the policy by unilateral decree.

Under DACA — Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals — illegal immigrants under the age of 36 can apply to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for deferred status. And while the Obama administration pretended the policy would be implemented via “prosecutorial discretion,” with each case considered individually, in practice, USCIS officials say, any illegal immigrant who appears eligible is granted deferred status — which comes with benefits such as a work permit, a Social Security number, and a driver’s license.

More than 750,000 illegal immigrants currently enjoy this functional amnesty. Candidate Trump made ending DACA a priority, but since being elected, the president has not followed through. The politics is tricky. It is difficult to roll back this de facto amnesty after it has already been implemented. And some of the DREAMers did indeed come here at a young age and have effectively known no other country (this isn’t true of all DACA beneficiaries — the Obama policy was so sweeping that it can apply to illegal immigrants who came here as teenagers). But the most important consideration is that DACA is flagrantly unconstitutional.

When jihad terrorists the world over are invoking the Qur’an and Sunnah to justify their actions and make recruits among peaceful Muslims, this is a self-defeating stance that prevents American officials from understanding the enemy and devising ways to counter that enemy properly. This was something Trump appeared to be saying during his campaign that he would end.

When he rebuked Obama and Hillary Clinton for refusing to say “radical Islamic terrorism,” he seemed to be saying that he would deal realistically with the motivating ideology behind the jihad threat. Trump has failed, and betrayed that promise.

India and China have decided to disengage their soldiers in the Doklam region of Sikkim sector, External Affairs Ministry said today. Soldiers of both countries were engaged in standoff since mid-June. In a statement, the MEA said, “In recent weeks, India and China have maintained diplomatic communication in respect of the incident at Doklam.

During these communications, we were able to express our views and convey our concerns and interests. On this basis, expeditious disengagement of border personnel at the face-off site at Doklam has been agreed to and is ongoing.” Reuters reported China’s foreign ministry as saying that Chinese forces will continue to patrol in Doklam region. It said Indian forces have already withdrawn to the Indian side of the border in Doklam. Chinese state media CGTN also reported that India and China have agreed to end the standoff in Donglang area of both countries’ border.

It based its report on a Times of India story about the recent development. China calls Doklam as Donglang. The standoff had started after China’s People’s Liberation Army tried to build a road in the Doklam area, which belongs to Bhutan and is strategically significant for India. China claims the as its own. The standoff threatened to derail decades of trust-building between New Delhi and Beijing after the fallout of 1962 war.

I wonder how Mohammad Khan is getting on in his legal action against Virgin Atlantic. Mo — a Muslim, the clue’s in the name — was waiting to board a flight when he started ‘harmlessly’ talking about 9/11.

There is no reason to believe he has any connections with extremists, but he was kicked off the flight because of security concerns and had to fly out of the UK with another airline. Although he was later offered a refund, he is now suing, claiming he was ‘racially and religiously profiled’ by the Virgin staff. ‘I know this wouldn’t have happened if I’d been a white man in his sixties,’ Mo complained. No, probably not. But if the world were comprised entirely of white men in their sixties, then 9/11 might not have happened.

The world might also be a nicer place to live, although there might be too many bridge tournaments for my own taste. It is axiomatic that white men in their sixties are privileged oppressive bastards, but it is also true that they have been remarkably quiet of late. No white men in their sixties were suspects in the recent carnage in Barcelona in which 15 people were killed and scores more injured. The police instead were looking for people who look a bit like Mo — Muslim men in their twenties.

Nor were older white folk implicated in the knife attack in Turku, Finland, in which two women were murdered and eight people injured. Nor yet in the attack in Hamburg in which one person was killed and six injured. In all of those cases the police were after people who might well be called ‘Mohammed’. They don’t give out the names of suspects anymore because everybody knows it’s probably someone called Mohammed.

In November 2013, Elena Zakusilo, a Ukrainian Jewish woman, appeared on the Ukrainian TV show "Lie Detector", revealing that she worked for the Israeli army and continued to do so. Sibel Kekilli: “You don’t accept other people, especially not women or people of other beliefs”-by Egri Nök

The popular German actress Sibel Kekilli (born in Germany in 1980 as the daughter of immigrants), known to an international audience as ‘Shae’ in Game of Thrones, has left Instagram over harassment mainly by Muslims. Bild quotes her as saying:

Sibel’s own experience as growing up as a girl in a “relatively modern” Muslim family in Germany, not being allowed to go to college, or to partake in school field trips, led her to break away from her family and champion women’s’ rights. She caused a “scandal” in 2006, when, in a speech in Berlin addressing domestic violence, she said:

I have experienced for myself that both physical and psychological abuse are regarded as normal in a Muslim family. Sadly, violence belongs to the culture of Islam.

Part of the audience booed her, one man interrupted her speech and yelled: “Islam has got nothing to do with violence. You humiliate our people!”, and the Turkish consul general got up and left in protest.

In a speech on behalf of Terre des Femmes on International Women’s Day, 2015, Kekilli called Islamic culture “merciless”. “San Anselmo’s San Domenico School creates stir by removing Catholic statues,” by Richard Halstead, Marin Independent Journal, August 24, 2017:

Removal of a number of statues and other smaller Catholic icons from the campus of San Domenico School in San Anselmo has raised concerns among some parents. In an email to the school’s board of directors, Dominican Sisters of San Rafael and the head of school, Shannon Fitzpatrick objected to the removal of the statues and other steps the school has taken in an effort to make the school more inclusive.

“Articulating an inclusive foundation appears to mean letting go of San Domenico’s 167-year tradition as a Dominican Catholic school and being both afraid and ashamed to celebrate one’s heritage and beliefs,” wrote Fitzpatrick, whose 8-year-old son attends the school. She added, “In our time here, the word ‘Catholic’ has been removed from the mission statement, sacraments were removed from the curriculum, the lower school curriculum was changed to world religions, the logo and colors were changed to be ‘less Catholic,’ and the uniform was changed to be less Catholic.”

Responding to follow-up questions Monday, Fitzpatrick wrote, “There are other families having the same concerns I do. Many parents feel if the school is heading in a different direction then the San Domenico community should have been notified before the signing of the enrollment for the following year.” Cheryl Newell, who had four children graduate from San Domenico, said, “I am extremely disappointed in the school and the direction they’ve been going. This isn’t a new thing that they’ve been intentionally eroding their Catholic heritage. They’re trying to be something for everyone and they’re making no one happy,”

Kim Pipki, whose daughter left San Domenico two years ago after graduating from ninth grade, said some of the statues were also important to families who aren’t Catholic. “The one main statue that has everyone fired up is the baby Jesus and Mary one,” Pipki said. “It was at the center of the primary school courtyard.” Pipki said the school had a ceremony during which children would place a crown on the statue of Mary.

Nonetheless, it is not illegal in the United States to preach Christianity or any other religion. It is only illegal to preach Christianity under Islamic law. But perhaps unsure as to whether Dearborn were under the rule of the U.S. Constitution or Sharia, Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad checked with lawyers and got the bad news: “According to our corporation counsel, it appears to be legal to engage in the noted activities under the First Amendment in the park.”

At least he asked this time. A few years ago, Dearborn Police arrested some Christian evangelists for daring to try to preach to Muslims (the video and photos are gone from that link, but you can still get the gist of what happened). But remember: if you’re concerned about the influence of Sharia in the U.S., you’re a racist, bigoted “Islamophobe.”
