Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
One of them is the son of a self loathing Apostate Hindu, as can be seen of the majority of converts
You dancing like a monkey and also being cheered on by other monkeys show lack of class, culture, professionalism and shallow upbringing.
Feel sorry for your parents for bring such shame on them. If you think you all looked cute with your antics keep watching it and you will know how foolish and ugly you portrayed yourself. Even our native orang Utan behaviour is commendable with such grace and gentle demeanor. The late Anànda Krishnan who founded the media entertainment company will roll in his grave seeing such low class apes working in his organisation ERA FM/ ASTRO.
Proarte : The actions of these delinquent DJs betrays an unspoken reality in the Malaysian society whereby an entitled demographic have a supremacist outlook with regard to their race and religion and which sadly has been abetted by a similarly entitled political class which governs this country.
Religious freedom is suppressed and again, sadly abetted by the media who dutifully toe the politically manipulated views on religion which happen to be far removed from what the religious texts actually say.
When there is a shameless manipulation of religious texts and this is not allowed to the pointed out or discussed in a rational and intellectual manner, we can be sure there will be repeated instances when other races, cultures or religions are insulted.
Hadi Awang is the foremost Muslim scholar in Malaysia who studied at Al-Azhar University, the pre-eminent institution of Sunni Islami scholarship in the world. He has openly stated that non-Muslims are inferior to Muslims and should be dutiful followers of Muslims i.e. they should be “ Pak Turut “ to Malay Muslims in the Malaysian context.
When religious text liken non co-religionist to “ pigs and monkeys “ or liken themselves as the “ best of creation “, it is not surprising that we have world renowned Islamic scholar Zakir Naik who teaches that it is incumbent for Muslims to vote for a morally corrupt Muslim in preference to morally upright non-Muslim.
He gives his religion’s explanation for teaching such.
As long as we do not face the elephant in the room and have an open discussion on the root causes of religious bigotry and Islamophobia, our society will continue to be dysfunctional and face endemic corruption.
We Malaysians of other faith do not want to stoop low like you fools in mocking other religions. More comments here.....
