Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
PAS Youth demands
an official explanation from the government over DAP minister Nga Kor
Ming’s Christmas party held at the Housing and Local Governance
Ministry, noting the lack of it from authorities including religious
ones.
PAS clarified that it is not against Christmas
celebrations in general but merely wishes to know if such “religious
rituals” are allowed on government premises.
The youth wing also refused to explain attacks on Nga by the PAS info chief.
PIS what would you say to this Muslim Sarawakian?
There
has yet to be an official response to questions regarding the Housing
and Local Governance Ministry’s Christmas party, PAS Youth said today.
PAS
Youth information chief Nazir Helmi said the party’s protest against
the Christmas party was their right as citizens and taxpayers, adding
that the issue involves Muslims.
“Until today, no party has
answered the question, including at the religious authority level,
perhaps the mufti or even the religious affairs minister.
“There
is no definitive answer, but the response we got was the reckless
accusation made by DAP that we (PAS) are misguided, we bring heretical
teachings.
“It is seen as if we do not want to allow the celebration of Christmas,” Nazir told a press conference at PAS headquarters.
Gerard Lourdesamy : Which law says that non-Muslim celebrations cannot be held in government premises? The Christmas celebration was a gathering that was secular in nature with secular songs sung. It was not a mass or religious service with prayers and rituals.
Christians do not worship the Christmas tree, Santa Claus and church bells! The ignorance and stupidity of these PAS leaders is astounding. They should make these statements in Sarawak and then experience the reaction of the Christian majority there.
Stop being racists by questioning the loyalty of the non-Muslims who defended the country during the Second World War and the Communist insurgency through their service in the armed forces, police and auxillary services like the Home Guard.
Going by the same logic, one can question the Malays/Muslims to explain how they allowed themselves to be colonised by Western powers from 1511 until 1957 despite their Islamic piety?
Me : Not forgetting the forcing of non Muslims to raise their hands on Military parades, where they curse the Jews and Christians, under the guise of uniformity! Why is that allowed?
Jupiter : SARAWAK autonomy advocate Peter John Jaban has denounced recent actions by PAS with respect to both mandatory halal certification for all businesses in Kelantan and the public whipping of a middle-aged man in Terengganu “as evidence of Malaysia’s rapid descent into extremism driven by a small group of power-hungry fanatics”.
BlueCougar1744 : Can PAS explain as written in the Quran about the Virgin Mother Mary and the Virgin Birth of Jesus?
Can PAS explain why the Quran teaches that if in doubt, to refer to The Book and The people of The Book in the Quran? Can PAS explain why our Creator creates the world with so many ethnicity and races?
Can PAS explain why Muslims around the world celebrates Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday and not Jesus (PBUH) birthday? Are you Muslims or are you not?
TehTarik : PAS youth, who are you exactly? Why should anyone be beholden to you or owe you any explanation for anything? Do you know that in Sabah, civil servants were merrily singing Christmas carols in government buildings, and no was triggered?
You guys have no power over us. We will continue to sing Christmas carols and wish each other Merry Christmas, and you guys can do nothing, but watch.
