Pahang PAS deputy commissioner Andansura Rabu said DAP leader Nga Kor Mingās statement against the Islamist party is misleading.
Pahang PAS has lodged nine reports against Nga since yesterday.
This is over the Christmas celebration held at the Housing and Local Government Ministry.
Pahang PAS described DAP leader Nga Kor Mingās accusation of the
Islamist party being misguided and religiously motivated as excessive
and absurd. According to Pahang PAS deputy commissioner Andansura
Rabu, Ngaās statement was dangerously misleading and could invite
confusion.
āWhen we questioned his behaviour as the Housing and
Local Government Minister in holding a Christmas celebration involving
Muslim staff, he made the accusation that PAS is misguided. āThis is confusing and that statement issued by Nga is actually misguided and misleading.
āWe
questioned his actions because it is clear that Muslims cannot take
part in celebrations of other religions, what more when there is singing
of the āgreatnessā of the celebration according to the understanding of
the religion involved,ā said Andansura (above) when met after filing a report at a police station in Kuantan, Pahang today.
Gotcha : The country will fail if extremism is allowed. The government must ensure our multi culture is preserved so that all Malaysians can progress and live in peace and harmony,

Our Neighbour Indonesia which has the biggest
Muslim population in the world their Ministers joined in the christmas celebrations and even went to churches.
The middle east countries including Saudi Arabia are now reforming and join in christmas
celebrations.
Why is PAS and Malaysia different.?
Our Rukun Negara which is our National ideology approves diversity and national unity.
Our Federal Constitution PROMOTES AND PROTECTS DIVERSITY ,Muticultralisn,multireligios Country.
So PAS stand appears to be inconsistent
With FC, RN and other major muslim countries.

Who is inviting the Muslims to take part in the celebrations of other religions. It is national tradition to visit the homes of people who are celebrating any particular religion and the host makes sure that all the food and drinks served is acceptable for guests.
These traditions promotes the understanding and goodwill between the people of different races and religions. Please remember this is a multiracial nation. If you don't want to visit then don't but do not make an issue when others visit their fellow Malaysian friends.
Me : The Constitution of ours is secular. When PIS wants to go against that they want to wage war against Malaysia? One of the 18 points:
Point 1: Religion. While there was no objection to Islam being the national religion of Malaysia, there should be no official religion in Sarawak, and the provisions relating to Islam in the present Constitution of the Federation Of Malaya should not apply to Sarawak.
The Malaysian federal constitution guarantees religious freedom. Article 161D stated that a two-thirds majority is required in the Council Negri to pass any law that restricts or controls the propagation of other religions among Muslims.
Article 161C stated that federal law should not provide any financial assistance for establishing Muslim institutions or religious education in the state without approval from the government of Sarawak.
