Mahathir’s Racist Agenda – Dynasty’s Survival Series

COMMENT | Whenever a ketuanan type questions the loyalty of non-Malays to this country, there is this rush to justify our existence, our very citizenship of this country.

I would rather let Dr Mahathir Mohamad do that for me. I would rather let the former prime minister remind anyone who believes like he does, why there would be no Malaysia without the non-Malays. I would rather let the former prime minister remind the ketuanan types what he really thinks of the Malay community.  

Mahathir says that for non-Malays to be accepted in this country they have to self-identify as Malay, defined as someone speaking the language and practising the culture.

Here is the thing though. Over the decades, Mahathir has insulted the Malays, demeaned their cultural traditions, and mocked their religion and now he wants everyone to identify as Malay to prove loyalty to this country? No, thank you.I would rather the ketuanan types just thank the non-Malays and realise that, without us, they would not have the platform they have to spew the horse manure that radicalises the majority community.

And that support continues today, but that was the topic of my last piece.

bravemalaysian : well written Commander. Thanks. May the long arm of the law catch up on him and his family on all their ill-gotten gains. Thats why he is panicking now and maybe this stress has caused him insanity.

As the saying goes: "Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad, sometimes given in Latin as Quos Deus vult perdere, prius dementat". For all the evil he has done, God has ensured that he lives long enough to see his own destruction together with that of his family, something he has caused.

MS : Mahathir's provocations, second only to his chronic mendacity, signal yet another attempt to ingratiate himself with a mindless semi-literate segment of the population and handful of cronies who are known to be already hedging their bets.

By stirring the pot now by questioning the loyalty of a significant minority whose contributions to nation-building are measurably more than his and his kind , he has simply reminded the public that he is as vicious and as divisive as he was when he first emerged from the dark in 1969 - and that everything he did over the decades was to keep the races uneasily wary of one another while he allegedly accumulated his personal wealth surreptitiously.

This latest provocation, a variation of his chopsticks nonsense and that ‘pesta maruah’ staged even as he plotted the downfall of his own government, is obviously aimed at positioning his mosquito party as the purest of the five corrupt Malay parties, each with its share of leaping frogs in a bubbling pool of imbecility.

The viciousness of this attack on diversity and the Indian community's language and lifestyle while signalling his desperation for at least third place in Malay political history, also proves my long-held contention that the man is pure evil.

Najib Abdul Razak, by comparison, only took what was not his. Mahathir, on the other hand, is set on robbing the country of its unique character... what makes it "Malaysia, truly Asia". That, in my estimation, is profoundly more immoral and reprehensible.

I Disagree : He said the Malays are lazy and this and that. Does he knows the reason why? If I’m given all and sundry privileges, why should I work so hard? I’m given discounts when I buy a property. Why do I need to work harder. Just enough can already.

I’m given an almost assurance of a place in higher learning institutions even my results are not good enough as compared with others. Why study so hard, just pass can already. I’m given a job in the civil service with ease with some local Degrees.

Why spend so much getting educated overseas. You must follow me and do what I say but not what I do. Why migrate? I’m King of kings here.

Me : All Muslim migrants to the West Should BECOME, Christians!!! If need be, forcibly converted like what happens in Muslim majority countries.
