Fadhli was responding to Ngeh's remark that PN components PAS and Bersatu were responsible for fanning tensions that led to the fire, following the brouhaha over his remark related to the Syariah Court.

Ngeh also said that he forgives the alleged arsonists behind the fire that damaged three cars and the porch roof of his house.

Robbie98 : Dear PAS man you are without any doubt the leading man by a mile when it comes to politicians making unwanted statements . I dread to think that one day you might be a minister or , god forbid the PM , if PAS comes into power .

UNDECIDED : According to its chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari, this is to counter the DAP leader's malicious slander over the incident. @@@@@ PN leaders started the religious/racial instigation by accusing Ngeh/DAP of being anti-Islam just because he suggested that a non Muslim be included in the panel so that they can give their views - not to meddle.

HRH the Sultan requested non Muslim politicians to refrain from further comments on the panel. Ngeh apologized for doing so because of his displeasure. This should be the end of the matter. Then the arson happened and Ngeh and his wife could have died as a result. He was gracious enough to forgive those responsible despite the ordeal.

This police report shows that PN leaders have little empathy and compassion for others. By making this report with the intention of punishing Ngeh further, you have shamed Islam and yourselves.

apa pun boleh : It is a double whammy for Ngeh. First his house is set on fire and then he is accused of defaming those that were the cause of the arson. It was PN that caused the 2R outcry and made a spectacle of Ngeh’s proposal to include non-Muslim experts in the committee to review Syriah court jurisdiction.

That 2R frenzy is believed to have led to the arson at Negh’s house. And it is this same PN that now cries foul when Ngeh alleges it was PN’s wild 2R reaction to his suggestion that had triggered the arsonists. This is the standard political SOP of 2R parties such as PN. Throw the 2R stone and then play victim. They have no political vision or mission on how to develop the country.

Their main political strategy is to twist issues into 2R issues and constantly make a hue and cry about it as a political tool. So even a well-intended proposal by Ngeh is turned into a political 2R football to project itself as the defender of 2R to its gullible and captive vote base.

Vijay47 : We do not need to be rocket scientists to understand and agree with Ngeh Kam Hoo’s statement that the alleged arson attack on his house was fanned by Malaysian Islamic fanatics. And these fanatics are housed almost exclusively within PAS and the lairs of its sister groups.

To enlighten you, Ahmad Fadhli Shaari, “to fan” means to influence or instigate others by one’s own conduct or statements. And for the record, at no time did Ngeh accuse PAS or the others of directing their supporters to carry out the Perak fireworks. From the very start, Ahmad Fadhli Shaari, your party has been harassing and bullying Ngeh over his suggestion that non-Muslims also be included in discussions affecting the Constitution.

For the world of me, I am unable to see how this could be against any law in the country. What crime did Ngeh commit? It would be the height of insanity if it is viewed that a mere suggestion by a citizen, a Member of Parliament at that, for non-Muslims to be party to discussions that could have national ramifications as being against the law or offensive to any religion.

PAS has been on the look-out for any reason, however insignificant or even non-existent, to create controversy and turmoil; this strategy has achieved great success among the naïve and gullible, who must number in their thousands, perhaps millions, in the party and its thereabouts.

The blame for this courage must surely lie with the authorities – despite constant, repetitive incitement by extremists, the police seem to remain immobile. Yet there is a silver lining. With his long silence of the “mischief by fire”, Anwar Ibrahim would be a brave man indeed if he dared lecture us as is his wont on international or even issues. He would be booed off the stage.

BluePanther4725 : The Law must not let these extremists get away with their crimes and violence. The fact that PN Youth is threatening Ngeh shows that PN/PAS condones extremism and violence. It is also a fact that PAS spreads hate message via Tik Tok. The government and the Law should take action on PN and PAS for inciting racial and religious hatred.
