I've had to work on Sundays

I just want to point out that, sadly, "honor killings" of women still happen to Israeli Muslim Arab women. There have been cases of brothers/relatives murdering women because of stuff like dating someone/being independent. The difference in Israel, is that the police tries to prevent such murders and protect the women.
Sometimes it succeeds, sometimes not. The Israeli police also investigates such murders and the culprits (when caught) are sentenced to jail. So, it's still better for these women in Israel - at least the state tries to help them and protect them. But it's hard stopping the violent traditions in the Arab society.
Truth is purer than all lies and rationalisations.
