No Atheists
In A Foxhole

Rudyard Kipling

" “When you're left wounded on
Afganistan's plains and

the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle

and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur

" “We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”

“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.”
“Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace,
for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .”
“The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

MP SPEAKS | Is there a ban on 'non-Islamic elements' by authorities? By Wilfred Madius Tangau
Saturday, November 25, 2023
Evil Is Terrified Of This Song

Malaysiakini : MP SPEAKS | Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and three related ministers must clarify if there is a ban on “non-Islamic religious elements” on TV, movies and other broadcasting media imposed by the Film Censorship Board (LPF) and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

If this is not true, new circulars should be made to such effect. This is in regard to the now u-turned exclusion of the carol “O Holy Night” in the “A Christmas Carol, Sarawak in Diversity” event to be aired by TVS, the broadcaster owned by Sarawak, on Dec 3.

While the exclusion was swiftly reversed due to public outcry, and conveniently blamed on “miscommunication” in a joint statement by TVS and the state government’s Unit for Other Religions (Unifor), the earlier media report stated something else.

Kilimanjaro : You expect an answer from Madani. You must be dreaming. Fahmi is a slippery snake who will slip off when it comes to the crunch.

constitutional supremacy : Wilfred Sir . Thank you for your insightful article. It appears that the ban on Non-islamic religious and cultural performances is in force. This will be unconstitutional. Yesterday Mkini reported that tamil songs were blocked in their festival in Penang.

Two indian Penang Exco members have appealed against the ban. As WILFRED pointed out there. is a clear misrepresentation of Article 3(1). I have pointed out similar fact a few times. Article 3(1) provides that " Islam is the religion of the Federation ....".

FC has ruled that here islam only refers to islamic ceremonies and rituals but not to Islamic way of life as Islam is generally understood to be. Islamic religion as a way of life is covered by Art 11(1)- " Every person has the right to profess and practice his religion.." Thus Islam for official purposes is confined to rituals and ceremonies. Thus for eg on the Installation of Tuanku YDPA,etc Islamic rituals and ceremonies are to be followed.

No Islamic way of life is covered by Art 3(1). MP's have taken oath to ' protect, preserve and defend the Constitution.Yet no MP appears to have attempted to correct the incorrect use of Art 3(1).

Thus if the incorrect interpretation of Art 3(1) persists by MP ,Ministers etc then only remedy will be to challenge them in court which could be the last resort. To Unite the Nation a correct reading of Art 3(1) should be promoted.

Koel : Who owns TVS and why are they being given this responsibility if they are intolerant of other faiths? Kick them out and get a respectful group to run broadcasting matters.

PinkTiger6749 : Here in Malaysia everything is "islam" and "ketuanan Melayu". They are frighten of their own shadows when everything is in their power.

NM are minority but are very tolerant all these years, so they take advantage of the situation and trying to be more Islamic then others in Malaysia and in the world for own political gain. It will be difficult to swallow the real truth. Finally, we will end up as a Taliban state soon.

BlueLynx2013 : PMX has the time to criticise what's happening in other countries, not in his own.

Ra1965 : He is main culprit. Betrayed us.
