Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Malaysiakini : Non-Muslims should be allowed to engage in dialogue about the government’s efforts over Palestine, said Sabah Amanah Youth. Its chief Rendy Ismail said that non-Muslims, particularly in Sabah, have been criticising support for Palestine.
“Massive
gatherings that have taken place, campaigns through writing and sharing
on social media about Palestine may have disturbed some non-Muslims who
do not understand the struggle (movement) that is being fought.
“Some
think this is a religious issue, and some may support Israel. There are
also some who criticise the boycott campaigns, which led to them being
cynical and opposing such campaigns. “I’ve observed some who have made their stance clear and some who
have not. But I worry that the Palestinian issue may eventually incite
hatred among the community,” he said in a statement today.
Rendy clarified that he was not singling out all non-Muslims as some do support the Palestinian cause. He said that a dialogue must be had with the non-Muslim community to reach a consensus on the issue. “In Western countries like Ireland, they openly support the Palestinian cause.
“I
am sure there is something that can be conveyed so that they are clear
about what is actually being fought for in this Palestinian issue,” he
added.
AdiviPanthi : How can the non Muslims trust the Muslims who have already conducted a demographic genocide against the indigenous people and natives of Sabah using the Filipino Muslims. They would be completely eradicated if you trust the Muslims.
Which is of course what they are trying to do to the Jews. Remember your daily prayers, 17 times a day where you curse the Jews and Christians. The rock will say there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him. There is no hope for peace as long as you want to fulfil your religious edict’s.
lipdah : Maybe we should first talk about the struggle of non malays here against the constant attack by the racists...quoting religion n race??
ScarletViper9930 : What is so hard to understand about the Israel war?
1. Caused by Hamas , the bestial and brutal nature of which I have never heard off before. For our PMX not to condemn it , is to me a major crime in itself.
2. Hamas has in its charter the annihilation of the Israel nation. Which nation, pray tell, will allow its people to be attacked without defending itself? So whatever is happening to Palestinians is collateral damage, which though unfortunate, happens in war. Hamas by its unethical and hateful method of using the people as shield is, again, the cause of the misfortune of Palestinians. So why no calls to charge them with war crimes?
3. Hamas hijacked and used all funds for Palestinians to build their armory of destruction, instead of building basic infrastructure for Palestinians. Hides their weaponry of destruction under hospitals and schools. Why no outcry from Malaysia for their dastardly actions?
And you say Palestinian issue is humanity issue? What a big fat lie! It is a religious issue plain and simple, radical muslims are taught to hate Jews from young, I just hope Malaysian muslims are better than that.
Our hearts are with the suffering of any ethnic group. We don’t want the Jews to be wiped out, we do not want the Palestinians to continue to suffer. If all nations join efforts to wipe out Hamas and harmful ideology, the problem would be solved.
How is that for understanding the Palestinians dilemma?
