Every muslim in Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan understands the real meaning of the words "Hindu Kush", which means "Hindu Slaughter". Has any "moderate" muslim ever objected or tried to change the name of the mountain ranges? Nobody cried for Hindus of Kashmir, Pakistan, Bangladesh and North-East.
I'm from sydney. There is a large muslim presence here, mostly Lebanese, that is largely quiet about their beliefs. They blew firecrackers and drove around like hooligans celebrating when this happened. There are also khalistanis here, though haven't gained big traction yet. Distance from poltiical affairs is one advantage in australia. These groups care but they will eventually filter out and forget. Lastly, our counter-terrorism laws are strong and anyone supporting them financially or through active efforts like fighting or extremist statements will not be excused for their activities.
