Uniten to provide scholarships for Palestinian students

Non-Malay Malaysian citizens unable to get scholarships but opportunities given to Palestinians instead.
I’m sure these Palestinians/Hamas are writing to the universities in Bahasa Melayu whereas the second-class Malaysians are all writing in Mandarin, Tamil and Sanskrit… so, their applications are automatically rejected! Anwar, you’re a man of Vision!
FMT - PETALING JAYA: Universiti Tenaga Nasional (Uniten) will sponsor the tuition fees for new Palestinian students who register for the 2023/2024 term.
In a statement, Uniten said the initiative, which covers the full tuition fees across all programmes, is a “sign of solidarity” with the Palestinians.
Uniten vice-chancellor Noor Azuan Abu Osman said the university is aligned with the government’s stance on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
He said extending aid to Palestinians pursuing their tertiary education in Malaysia could help them contribute to the liberation of Palestine.
According to United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, some 580 Palestinians are living in Malaysia, and this includes students.

The war has left thousands more injured and displaced and led to fears about the fate of those stuck in the Gaza Strip.
