Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Maips appeals to provide Islamic education to Loh's children By Hidir Reduan Abdul Rashid
Tuesday, October 24, 2023
Malaysiakini : The Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Etiquette Council (Maips) has
gone up to the Court of Appeal to be allowed to provide Islamic guidance
to the unilaterally converted children of 35-year-old single mother Loh
Siew Hong.
The state Islamic body filed the notice of appeal on Friday last week (Oct 20), targeting the Kuala Lumpur High Court’s dismissal of its application to vary the custody order granted to Loh (above) in relation to her children - twin daughters aged 15 and an 11-year-old boy.
When contacted by Malaysiakini
this afternoon, Maips’ counsel Danial Farhan confirmed the matter,
adding that the appellate court has yet to set a case management date,
due to the appeal having just been filed recently.
On Oct 11, the Kuala Lumpur family court denied Maips’ bid, revealing that Loh’s children do not wish to be Muslims.
kita orangbiasa : 1. The courts have given custody of the children to the non Muslim mother.
2. Unilateral conversion is illegal
3. The non Muslim mother wants her children to be raised as non Muslims
4. The children has also expressed their unwillingness to be Muslims before a judge
5. The children are all under 18 and their religion will be determined by the mother who is now been given the legal custody.
So what is so compelling for MAIPS to provide Islamic education to the children while being under their non-Muslim mother’s care. Why is there such a compulsion by MAIPS?
OCT : The children has confirmed that they are no longer interested in Islam. It is ridiculous that MAIPS still insists of providing teachings to the children when the children has stated their intention. MAIPS will be torturing, tormenting and disturb the peace of the children by pursuing their appeal.
Which part of the judgement that MAIPS don't understand? On what grounds that MAIPS think they can win the appeal. Islam has stated there is no compulsion in the religion. MAIPS action is against it. Looks like MAIPS officers want credit if they win the case else they cannot go to heaven if they lose.
Have a heart and graciously leave the children a peace of mind. You win some, you lose some. You cannot win all the time like it is not a sunny day forever
DonGetMeWrong : To the world they preached humanity but at home they snatched corpes and leeched on unilateral converted children and would not let go even if the children's confessed they do not want to be a Muslim. How pathetic? And in the Quran it has specifically mentioned by the prophet no compulsion to Islam.
Yet these so called religious scholars defined the Quran. Where is the rights of non Muslims? The courts are afraid to make a just decision worrying backlash from Muslims fanatics. So where do we go from here as a nation when the non muslims fundamental rights are trampled upon?
