No Atheists
In A Foxhole

Rudyard Kipling

" “When you're left wounded on
Afganistan's plains and

the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle

and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur

" “We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”

“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.”
“Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace,
for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .”
“The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

Sanusi faces two charges for sedition - Reposted with Navy Officer's Comments
Tuesday, July 18, 2023
RMN Officer (Veteran) : "Sanusi was accorded a Naval Officer's honorary rank (one wonders why even right now) of a flag officer. The uniformed services swears complete allegiance to king and country, no ifs or buts ever allowed. The Sultan of Selangor holds the Captain-in-Chief of the Navy currently and Sanusi is "alleged" to have insulted even his Captain openly. In the military service proper - he'd be officially and publicly stripped of his rank and uniform, whether or not he is guilty even, for such disloyalty to the uniform and oath of allegiance. Will the Armed Forces Council undertake this act immediately? This should be carried out as publicly as when he was accorded the uniform and rank that he flaunted happily and perhaps without realising the true consequences of wearing a commission in uniform."

Malaysiakini : Caretaker Kedah menteri besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor faced two charges today at the Sessions Court in Selayang, Selangor over his ceramah on July 11. Both charges accused him of uttering words that had the tendency to incite disloyalty against a ruler.

According to the first charge, Sanusi said the Kedah sultanate was the only one in the country with uninterrupted lineage and that the Kedah ruler would not have appointed Selangor incumbent menteri besar Amirudin Shari to head the state’s administration.

According to the second charge, Sanusi questioned if the Yang di-Pertuan Agong had indeed decreed that a unity government be formed after the parliamentary election last November.

Low Class, see how he sits in court, typical "dibawah tempurong"

The alleged offence was committed at around 11pm in Taman Selayang Mutiara, Selangor. The charge was framed under Section 4(1)(a) which criminalises acts of “seditious tendency”.

If found guilty, Sanusi can be jailed for up to three years, fined up to RM5,000, or both for each offence. The two charges were read out before judge Nor Rajiah Mat Zin and judge Osman Affendi Mohd Shalleh respectively. Solicitor-general Ahmad Terrirudin Mohd Salleh prosecuted. The police did not apply handcuffs on Sanusi while bringing him to the courtroom, a privilege usually not afforded to most detainees.

Mojo : Sedition of the highest order, sure go to jail, one.

Malaysia Air MadaNi : sepandai pandai tupai melompat, akhirnya jatuh ke tanah juga.

DonGetMeWrong : For the longest time PAS leaders have the notion that they are only answerable to Allah and no earthly being can touched them. They are invincible.

They determine who goes to heaven or hell. They felt they are above the law. They can said what they like do what they like. Finally the curtain has fallen down on them.

Gerard Lourdesamy : PN supporters should not be crying foul. Both PAS and Bersatu support maintaining the Sedition Act 1948. When Bersatu was in the PH government from 2018 to 2020, all attempts to repeal the Sedition Act was blocked by Mahathir and Muhyiddin. PAS and UMNO also objected. So the plan was dropped. Given the behaviour of PN leaders since GE15, the Sedition Act will need to be maintained and enforced for the next 5 to 10 years.

Cogito Ergo Sum : With impunity members of certain parties have been insulting and questioning the royal imperative. There came a point when it was rumoured that this party was immune to Malaysian laws and were only answerable to the divine judge. Today, the wait is over and the answer came thundering at 3 am. Nearly all are equal under the law!
