Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Anwar, do you remember your "penerapan nilai-nilai Islam" ?

Still want to trust this cobra?
Hijacked Islam - who indeed Mr Anwar? It was you who hijacked Islam in Malaysia!!! There was a female doctor who examined a patient with a ball point pen, who contributed that? You!! Remember the removal of beers in Messes of multi faith units in the Military? You!! Remember forcing Non Muslims to raise their hands to curse themselves during the saying of grace on parades?
Malaysiakini : Religion is embedded into the Federal Constitution so it is
“unacceptable” for Malaysia to adopt “laïcité” (state) secularism which
completely dissociates the state from religion, said Prime Minister
Anwar Ibrahim. However, he said, this does not mean Malaysia is a
theocratic state where Islamic laws are applied across the board,
including to non-Muslims.
“If it is laïcité secularism, which
completely cuts off religion, it is of course not acceptable, not only
to me as a Muslim but to all Malaysians. “When I say we are not secular, I am referring to that context. He has lied before and will continue lying again.
Remember this : Anak cina anak saya, Anak India anak saya, Anak iban anak saya. Before becoming PM. Just like any other malay politician. And the non Malays thought they found a fairer person in him. His statements pre GE were different from his song now. Enough the nons just need to sweat it out and move on. Don't expect any favours from Sheikh Madani.
ANNONYMOUS : If it is laïcité secularism, which completely cuts off religion, it is of course NOT ACCEPTABLE, not only to me as a Muslim, but TO ALL MALAYSIANS, you said??!
Please speak for yourself!! We beg to differ, ALL good MALAYSIANS, including many good Muslims don't agree with your negative assertion to include religion into your goverment similar to PAS guided by strict Islamic precepts in Kelantan & Trengganu!
What are you trying to twist this time Mr Madani???
Did you not loudly proclaim to the whole world for 25 years you were going to be the PM FOR ALL MALAYSIANS AND ALL RACES, NO?
Governing a secular country since 31st August 1957, but now trying to justify / turn Msia into an Islamic state / to include your Religion / your hudud laws, child-marriages, ban shorts, ban concerts, ban cinemas, ban anything "haram", may be "acceptable" to you and your Islamic politicians & PAS, but it is unconstitutional and in breach of Article 11 & Article 12 of the Malaysian Constitution.
And certainly is NOT ACCEPTABLE to ALL good MALAYSIANS: the Kadazans, the Ibans, Dayaks Bidayuh, Kenyah, Kayan, Kedayan, Lunbawang, Punan, Bisayah, Kelabit, Berawan, Kejaman, Ukit, Sekapan, Melanau, Penan, the Sikhs, the Indians, the Chinese, the Hindus, the Sikhs, many good Malays, the Buddhist, and especially the huge Christian population in the countries of Sabah & Swak under the federation of Malaysia that subcribes to a secular country.
Any subtle attempts to impose Religious rules /moral policing, by the "I am Muslim first" politicians, that infringed on the rights of other religions /MALAYSIANS of all races would put Malaysia’s multi-religious and multi-racial society on a hazardous path if it were to be enforced like what is happening in States under PAS rule. And any religious /Hudud law in Malaysia would limit Malaysians' fundamental freedoms, with different consequences for Muslims and non-Muslims that would break the country apart!!
GreenWolf2141 : Intertwining religion into Government Administration leads to the following consequences:
1) Breeding Islamic Zealots, who impose their moral values on citizens, eroding personal freedom and creating an atmosphere of fear. This undermines diversity and pluralism in society.
2) Breeding a Religious Superiority Complex, where non-Muslims and even Muslims are denigrated as infidels and any differing opinions are not tolerated. his undermines principles of equality and freedom of belief.
Religion should be a private matter, allowing individuals to choose their faith and maintain a personal relationship with their God. By keeping a clear distinction between religious practices and government machinery, a state can better meet the diverse needs and aspirations of its citizens.
This approach protects citizens from the adverse consequences of religious zealots and promotes an inclusive and harmonious society. It will also prevent them from using Religion for political gain
