Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
MACC to summon ex-minister, Tan Sri again over RM2.3b
Sunday, May 21, 2023
Malaysiakini : The MACC is expected to summon a former senior minister and a former
prominent businessperson for another round of questioning about the
alleged misappropriation of over RM2.3 billion in public funds.
According
to a news report, the anti-graft agency has seized a number of
documents regarding the takeover of shares involving a public-listed
company, which allegedly caused the decline of Malaysia’s economy in the
1990s. “The two public figures, including the businessperson who holds the Tan Sri title, may be called again soon.
“Besides
the two, MACC has also summoned several individuals, including a
lawyer, auditor, and representatives of a company to acquire more
documents that are needed for the investigation,” UtusanMalaysia reported, quoting a source. The seized documents purportedly include banking papers as well as documents from the Securities Commission and developers.
Another business tycoon has also been asked to appear before investigators tomorrow for questioning, read the report. MACC chief Azam Baki (above)
reportedly confirmed the matter and said the case is being investigated
under Section 23 of the MACC Act for abuse of power to get
gratification and under the country’s anti-money laundering law.
Two days ago, Bernama reported
that MACC is investigating a former senior minister and prominent
businessperson with a Tan Sri title for the alleged misappropriation.
Lionking : One case that affected country’s dignity and the rakyat is Malaysian Airlines. It appeared the country’s pride and dignity was so badly dented when it incurred losses. The crony was given the airline in a silver plate and just messed it up.
How much taxpayer money was pumped in to salvage the airline. In the end the airline was bought back by the government to salvage the crony. Look into bank bumi too. This person including the crony should be in prison
BOBBYO : Finally we have a MACC doing its job, after so many years of being an obedient watchdog for the people in power.
This 2.3 billion is just a tip of the iceberg. The report says that we lost 4.5 trillion in all these years.
So there are many more Tuns, Tan Sri's and Datuk's that have stripped this beautiful God given nation with a bountiful harvest of its assets and cash.
All these traitors who had not contributed in any way to the advancement of this nation, but dsfinitely for the advancement of their own personal agenda.
Let us not stop there, but rope in all these crooks and criminals that have taken advantage of their position to amass wealth.
Including those that are sitting in the position of power.
The nation have to rise up again. The sun must shine through this nation and bring back the smile on the faces of the people.
Our economies must grow, our education system one of the best in the world, our health care easily available, enployment to the fullest for every citizen, our transport system the most effective and the list goes on.
We can do it, if we collect back what was stolen from our nation by these few miserable opportunist.
