Rudyard Kipling"
āWhen you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldierā
General Douglas MacArthur"
āWe are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.ā
āIt is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.ā āOld soldiers never die; they just fade away.
āThe soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.ā
āMay God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .ā āThe object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
āNobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
āIt is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Malaysia's newest Islamic warriors By Lim Teck Ghee

Malaysiakini : COMMENT | Which Islamic warrior and what form of Islam wins will determine the future of Malays and non-Muslims in Malaysia.
After
the social media frenzy over the corruption charges facing Muhyiddin
Yassin, attention is now focusing on the religious front related to the
film, Mentega Terbang. Released in November 2021, the film appears to
have become the latest concern of the nationās new generation of
āIslamicā warriors.
Reports and pictures of the vandalised cars
of the director and scriptwriter together with the written placard
threats are now circulating nationally and also internationally.
How
and why the movie which tells the story of a teenager, who on finding
out that her mother has terminal cancer, tries to find out about life
after death and the way that different religions deal with the subject,
has generated thuggish responses and criminal reactions may appear to be
difficult to understand.
Tyrion Lannister : I wonder what are Muslims need to rise to? Most of them are living in Muslim countries and yet, they escape by boatload to infidel countries seeking refuge. So, what's wrong their their Muslim countries rules by Muslim leaders?
XED : Why are so many Muslims fleeing the prosperous and peaceful abodes of Islam for the decadent West?
If only enough is said by the Islamic warriors in Malaysia about the plight of divorced women who are struggling to obtain maintenance from their ex-husbands for their children.
It appears that an extremist Islamic identity is being promoted by some as part of the Malay identity in what is seen as a war against the non-Malays. It is a form of diversion from the ills affecting Malay society brought about by a corrupt, crooked and incompetent Malay leadership.
Tell the ordinary Malays who are toiling to put food on the table that Islam is under attack by non-Malays and they will go on the rampage. The loudest tend to get a disproportionately greater amount of attention.
The more tolerant ones amongst the Malays get frightened into remaining silent.
Steven Ong : What ever version of Islam the Muslims try to propagate, they all have the same purpose, that is to subdue the world under Islam and no other way are allowed in this world.
As pointed out by many , Islam will be embraced and accepted by all , if there is one Islamic country where its development is the most peaceful and best in the world and its people are the pioneers in many developing technologies helping the world in many areas.
Or are they the struggling , threatening and choatic communities that had generated a phobia feared by many peace loving people?
Sealthedeal : And they harp on about islamaphobia when they indeed are the cause of it.
It's pathetic.
