Malaysiakini : Penang PKR Youth urged the state government to sack state Deputy Chief Minister II P Ramasamy following the latter's remarks calling for Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to break the Malays’ monopoly in the civil service.

Abshar Nurasyra, the state PKR Youth division’s information chief, was referring to Ramasamy’s statement on Facebook yesterday where he said the civil service is dominated by Malays due to alleged “policies implemented by former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad”.

Abshar described Ramasamy as a liability to Pakatan Harapan who issues controversial statements that do not benefit the government, the people, or the country.

TTSH : Just because certain leaders "kow tow" to "bully parties"does not mean Penang DAP is the same. It is exactly people like you in PKR & Amanah who try to cow DAP leaders into submission, but that does not mean Penang DAP leaders/supporters are weak.

If Penangites do not support their own leaders who will? Antony Loke? Be careful to watch your own backyard. I won't speak about the other states, but Penang is a DAP stronghold. Admit it or not, PKR/Amanah/BN will need the support of Penangites. Without them, you can kiss your seats goodbye.

MS : The PKR Reformasi rabble which is essentially the Malay Ketuanan crowd in disguise will not go after the Sarawakian chief for making the same call because they know the consequences.

But this is what non-Malays backing the chameleon and fake reformist Anwar Al Madani stubbornly refuse to believe- that the fellow is as much a racist, self-serving scumbag as anyone in UMNO or PAS.

Even after this exposure with the racist PKR hordes barring their teeth, it will be hard to see any of the deluded followers waking up to the fact that UMNO, Bersatu and PAS are actually determining the direction of the country while the mindless Harapan rabble bleat about Madani.

The bottom line is that nothing will change to reset the racial balance and remove the inequities because under the MADANI bullcrap, racism, bigotry, cronyism and nepotism are salient features of a civilized society.

Abshar's statement is empty promise because the Madani Government of today and the governments of yester years for the last 40 over years since Razak's time, Malays are replaced by a Malay when a Malay retires from Civil Service.

Even today when there are vacancies in certain sectors of government, we can only see Malays are being selected and training is given to place them to take over. So Abshar, where on earth can a non-Malay move to enter civil service telling Anwar's government MADANI will not discriminate?

Many departments discreetly training Malay youths to take or replace the vacancies so even after 40 years from now, there is no way MADANI Government could fulfill the wishes of non-Malays entering the government service with this sort of attitude.

When we speak the truth, why are you so sensitive but at the same time when we bring up issues like what had happened in 2 schools recently effecting non-Malays, none of you, even MADANI Leader Anwar come out to speak but on the other hand the moment when we raise such bigotry issues, you respond at lightening speed.

Is this what Anwar had been campaigning 'Cina anak saya, India anak saya, Melayu anak saya serta Iban dan khadazan? Where is the opportunity for all the 'anak' Anwar when the departments discreetly employ and train anak mereka? Isn't this a farce to get votes?

Fair minded Senior Citizen : I fully support what Dr Ramasamy has said as it is the truth and we cannot be sweeping the truth under the carpet. For far too long we have been silent on this type of affirmative action under the guise of NEP which is nothing more than poor disguise for apartheid.

After nearly 40 years and constant spoon feeding certain sections of the community are not able to think leave alone work. It is time that this matter be debated and a timely end to apartheid be given but certainly not another 40 years.

Start thinking guys as MALAYSIA is built with brains to compete with any one. Insidious behaviour will be the end and we will witness our neighbours employing us to do their dishes.

Rupert16 : Ramasamy is doing the right thing in calling a spade a spade. If the country keep on employing government servants based on race instead of capability and competency, there’s no doubt that our country will continue to slide down the slippery slope to perdition.

Ramesh Rajaratnam : This racially motivated hypocrisy is exactly what's wrong with this country. One race bullies the minorities. The good professor said the the truth and EVERYBODY knows this.

Abang Jo said the same - not a whimper from the racists and extremists. Noor Faridah said the same - not a peep from those suffering delusions of racial superiority. Even Mahathir (the creator of the problem) said this a few years ago, nobody said anything.

If you read (problem is, these morons who attack him lack the brains to understand......and basically don't understand English) Ramasamy's essay, it's well thought of and actually advices the government to do the right thing. A few months ago, I too did say, the ONLY way to reduce corruption and make the civil service more efficient is to reduce the current race based "pengarah" dominance by 50%.

No need to guess why.....we all know who is most susceptible to having a hand in the cookie jar in this country. Just look around. Don't shoot the messenger because you despise the truth. Someone's gotta say the emperor is not wearing any clothes.
