Rudyard Kipling"
āWhen you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldierā
General Douglas MacArthur"
āWe are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.ā
āIt is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.ā āOld soldiers never die; they just fade away.
āThe soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.ā
āMay God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .ā āThe object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
āNobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
āIt is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Health DG vows probe into alleged moral policing at Perak hospital - Everyone wants to be a Mullah now, take note Sheikh Madani
Wednesday, February 15, 2023
Malaysiakini : The Health Ministry will investigate a case where a woman was
allegedly refused treatment in a government hospital in Perak, due to
her attire. According to its director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, action will be taken if the case has indeed happened as reported.
This shouldnāt happen in health facilities. We will investigate and if it is true will take necessary action. Thank you for highlighting this issue.

"This
shouldn't happen in health facilities. We will investigate and if it is
true will take necessary action. Thank you for highlighting this
issue," Noor Hisham (above) said in a tweet yesterday. This
shouldnāt happen in health facilities. We will investigate and if it is
true will take necessary action. Thank you for highlighting this issue.
So anyone wanna stone this Imam?
He was responding to a netizen who had tagged him on a sharing of a news report on the incident. The
Feb 13 incident involves one Damien Chan who rushed his friend's
girlfriend to the Kampar Hospital after she complained of sharp stomach
pains while playing badminton.
Chan told Nanyang Siang Pau
that the woman was refused treatment upon arrival at the hospital as
she was wearing shorts and that he had to drive back to the hostel to
grab a pair of long pants for her. She was reportedly only allowed entry
into the emergency department after changing into long pants.
The report added that the hospital staff defended their action as being well within hospital rules. Chan and his friends were allegedly scolded and chased out when they
pressed the staff for more answers. The group then lodged a formal
complaint about the incident to the hospital's management.
Another moral policing?
This is reminiscent of the case where a woman was barred from entering the Kajang District police headquarters to lodge a report on a traffic accident because she was wearing shorts. The
personnel on duty advised the woman to change into long pants, which
she did before she was allowed to proceed with making her police report.
Inspector-General of Police Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said that the incident stemmed from "a misunderstanding" between the woman and personnel on duty. Acryl
Sani further reminded members of the public to adhere to the fifth
principle of the Rukun Negara, which pertains to courtesy and morality,
when visiting government offices. This case has courted widespread backlash from the public and politicians alike.
Vijay47 : If you were one of those Muslim extremists obsessed with executing their PAS-inspired inclinations, what is there to prevent you from carrying out your dressing or any other form of fanaticism? You can always be assured that no action will be taken against you.
On the contrary, your superiors will rush to your defence, as well-exhibited just recently by that miserable Inspector General of Police with his āit was all a misunderstandingā pathetic excuse.
Now this madness has even crept into hospitals. Where else would it seep into?
I would not in the least be shocked if next we hear of medical ambulance crews refusing to assist accident-victims on the grounds that the dying or injured are in clothing not in keeping with the medical teamsā warped religious codes. To add to the disgraceful refusal, they could actually justify themselves.
To his credit, Noor Hisham seems outraged over the shameful, unthinkable Perak incident. But mere outrage has never led a sick fanatic to turn over a new leaf. Noor Hisham, can we expect that some hard action, including dismissal, will be taken against the medical staff involved?
Remember, it is an extremely thin line we now face - we might soon hear of doctors refusing to treat non-Muslims as it would be afoul of their religious teachings.
Yeah sure, it was not a religious matter, it was merely the enforcement of a departmental ruling.
So Public Services Commission and Cuepacs, is this the merit and competency you were talking about? And Perak PAS chairman Razman Zakariah, I am waiting for your protest that the unwell lady and her companions should have shown respect to the hospital staffās Islamic sensitivities.
Doc : Only this kind of stupidity can happen in Malaysia! This poor lady was brought to the hospital after suffering sudden onset severe stomach cramps. The mentally deranged hospital staff insisted that the lady be covered up first in the legs and only then she can be admitted to the kecemasan.
Now the poor boyfriend has to drive all the way back home to get a pair of pants for the suffering girlfriend. After wearing the pants and being allowed into the kecemasan; obviously doctor is going to ask the poor girl to loosen her pants and lift her t-shirt to examine her abdomen.
In short, only in Malaysia one needs to cover up to get into the keemasan but asked to undress inside the kecemasan. If you think this scenario is stupid; then you may be in a minority of Malaysians with brains. I assume after the investigation is complete, the ningkampoop nurse or staff will be transfer to another hospital on a promotion.
