Rudyard Kipling"
āWhen you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldierā
General Douglas MacArthur"
āWe are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.ā
āIt is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.ā āOld soldiers never die; they just fade away.
āThe soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.ā
āMay God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .ā āThe object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
āNobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
āIt is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Show proof of 'charity', Umno man tells PN over money to voters
Monday, January 23, 2023
Malaysiakini : Umno information chief Isham Jalil has challenged Perikatan Nasional
to show evidence of the ācharityā the coalition allegedly gave to voters
during the 15th general election.
Isham (above, left) called on PN secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin to clarify the coalitionās āintentā if it did provide cash handouts to voters.
āHamzah, explain what was PNās intent in giving money to voters during the general election.
āYou
said you have strong evidence that PN supposedly did not bribe voters
during the previous general election. If true, then reveal this strong
evidence so that the people can decide and to prevent slander.
"Also explain the large number of viral videos and police reports
regarding those linked to PN giving money to voters and seeking
recipients to swear to Allah that they will vote for PAS,ā he said on
Facebook yesterday.
Isham also advised PN leaders to ānot use religionā to gather votes.
āAllah is all-knowing over what you and your associates are doing. Seek forgiveness,ā he added.
Yesterday, Hamzah said the most important element in giving cash handouts is the intention.
Focusapp : AI does not have the guts to go after corrupted leaders. After all, his main objective is to become PM. He's busy cozying up with leader from different political parties to secure his position. That's his reformasi. So far AI had proven himself as all talk but nothing tangible achieved.
BrownCheetah9736 : The first point is that this is an election bribe. The second point is where did the money come from?
IndigoKiwi9570 : Not so much the green wave but š°š°š° wave. The corrupt politicians have corrupted the rakyat as well. Religion is used as a camouflage.
OCT : Let's face the reality. No religious leaders especially Hadi will be dragged to court, charged and imprisoned even though there are solid evidence that showed they were in the wrong.
So far, history has shown no religious leaders has been charged so far. If ever any religious leaders do get imprisoned, all hell will break loose. The PM for Per Pauh has crossed the line by uttering offensive remarks about NM and yet no action has been taken against him.
Hadi has been investigated and called to give statement but all his cases had become cold cases. No Malaysian government is stupid enough to arouse a hornet nest by arresting any religious leaders as it will be the downfall of it.
In Malaysia religious leaders reign supreme as they know they are the untouchables. Nobody wants to bell a religious leader. Religious leaders are getting bold, arrogant, insensitive, offensive and beyond reproach. It's the Govt fault to make them this way by not nipping in the bud in the first place as the Govt needs their votes more than anything else.
As far as PAS is concerned, they must win at all cost even to the extent of breaking law as they know nobody can take action against them for any wrong doings.
