Malaysiakini : The Perlis government had not discussed the possibility of banning 4D
number betting outlets in the state, said Perlis Menteri Besar Mohd
Shukri Ramli.
Shukri (above) mentioned that there were very few such outlets in Perlis but said the matter would be looked into eventually.
"God
willing, we will look into the legislation first, including the licence
period of gambling outlets before any action is taken.
"Anyway in
Perlis, we don't even have many gambling outlets, because I understand
that there are only about three such outlets in the Kangar and Kuala
Perlis area," he told New Straits Times yesterday.
