I say well done outwitting our "lopong" security!! Improvise, adapt and overcome. Security have only themselves to blame, name the Security Company that man's that place and who is in charge.
Malaysiakini : One of the daredevil Russian climbers who recently trespassed the
Merdeka 118 tower before climbing to its top took to Twitter last night
to detail how she managed to slip past security and construction
workers.
Angela Nikolau's proud recount of her experience climbing
the skyscraper, however, did not go down well with Malaysian netizens,
many of whom had expressed their dismay with the woman and her partner's
"disrespect" of the country's laws.
According to Nikolau, she had
scouted the building to gather important details and plan the attempt
by renting an apartment with a good view of Merdeka 118 for several
weeks.
In a bid to avoid detection, the woman who dubbed herself
as a “rooftopper” said she wore a hijab, glasses and donned a
construction worker's outfit, and ran her way up 32 floors before taking
a rest.
"I had to lie down on the concrete floor naked to cool down a little
bit. I drank all the water I had," she said in one of her tweets, which
was attached with photos of herself in disguise and another of her
top-half shirtless body.
The woman, who is now being investigated
by police, claimed that someone later noticed her presence before she
had to run away and hid in a concrete box, where she spent more than 20
hours hiding from builders who were doing their work.
According
to the woman, she then took the opportunity to sneak in when the
workers went away for their break - and continued her climb to the
rooftop. "The spire itself was 53 floors high - and I was wearing a
15 kg backpack. If you look at the previous photo, you won't even see
the bottom. I'm not sure I'd climb it if I knew how high it was.
Michael Ian : I know of a sly old man who did more damage to Malaysia and Malaysians.
This duo practically became the unofficial tourist ambassadors of KL without using taxpayers money!
A foreigner can get assassinated in KLIA in broad daylight and the Malaysian authorities could not do anything.
Compared to that, MERDEKA 118 is a walk in the park! Can be assured, the authorities will still be seeing stars!
Hmmmmmmmm : What is done is done. Since there was no physical damage to any part of the building, just let it slide. Afterall, we got free publicity from it. Just make sure we tighten our security from here on.
On a different note, I doubt we will ever see such a feat from any Malaysian because parents here will scold their children for even climbing trees.

There are a hundred worse things to be angry about eg: the recent violence & abuse of a minor, child marriages & many other more hideous criminals who are still loved & FORGIVEN!
If the climb is true, No issue to me at all!!
In the midst of the endless crimes & sins plaguing the country last 60 years, this is a breath of fresh air and great publicity for our country FREE OF CHARGE as this recorded feat and the magnificient Merdeka 118 Tower is going viral all over the world!
We should invite this special couple (and French Spiderman) with such fearless talent as a promotional gimmick to arouse global interest during the official opening of this great structure!
What these heroes did was nothing and harmless to others, and as a matter of fact, they've helped to promote this awesome new gem, Merdeka 118, compared to the Zakir Naiks, the extremist Muftis, hate-preachers and corrupt in power freely climbing every peak of corruption/ hate-speech and racism and reaching the highest peak and Guinness World Record for the world's biggest corruption scandal that shook the Financial world, and trampling on the rakyat and ruining our country's image the last 60 years, with impunity, and still many are walking free and FORGIVEN!!
I must thank them and really take my hat off to this great feat & special talent of these RARE & courageous climbers & human beings, like the French Spiderman, Alain Robert, who is respected and embraced all over the world, France's national hero.
On 20 March 2007, French Spiderman, Alain Robert again climbed the Petronas Twin Towers, marking the tenth anniversary of his previous ascent of this building. Upon reaching the 60th floor, he allowed himself to be apprehended. He flew the Malaysian flag and drew applause from waiting police, fire crew and media representatives before handing himself in.
They are God's gift to humanity.
Thanks to this outstanding feat & for the viral video, if not, i wouldn't have known this beautiful structure Merdeka 118 even existed at all! I thought it was just another building!
Appum : We should just take this as a wakeup call to our inefficient and lax security in our system instead of going after these daredevils who actually put our Meedeka 118 Tower and Malaysia on the world map! Imagine if domestic and international terrorists get into our tower as easily....
