No Atheists
In A Foxhole

Rudyard Kipling

" “When you're left wounded on
Afganistan's plains and

the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle

and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur

" “We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”

“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.”
“Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace,
for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .”
“The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

'We are disappointed' - Wan Fayhsal addresses GRS exodus
Tuesday, December 13, 2022

kanke : Now you know how it feels to be betrayed. Finally a taste of your own medicine.

Malaysiakini : Perikatan Nasional's Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal has hit back at the exodus of several Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) leaders from the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.

In an interview with BFM radio today, Wan Fayhsal (above) expressed the coalition’s disappointment at GRS, claiming that GRS chairperson Hajiji Noor had previously won his state seat under the PN coalition’s banner.

“Of course, we are disappointed. Because of us, he won and became chief minister of Sabah,” he said, referring to Hajiji.

When asked to clarify his comment, the Bersatu Youth chief stated that the candidates had won under the PN ticket.

Salvage Malaysia : Bersatu won only 13 seats in GE14 under PKR. Kak Wan could have easily be the rightful PM then but PH leaders honoured their agreement and let TDM from Bersatu to be PM.

Bersatu president received a second lease of life by winning under PKR too and became a minister. From there, the party took in MPs from other parties just to strengthen itself. And eventually cooked up Sheraton Move and abandoned PH.

And today Bersatu is disappointed with these GRS leaders whom you lured to jump out from Umno to strengthen Bersatu Sabah? Haha. What a joke. You live by scheme of things, you fall by scheme of things too.

Kilimanjaro : Sometimes Wan Fahysal has to learn some of life's bitter lessons - one of them is "what goes around, comes around". His boss Muyhiddin and Hadi are masters of a craft of one of its kind.

When everyone was scratching their head, Hadi kept telling Malaysians that their coalition had secured the numbers to form the Govt. Apparently, Muyhiddin had somehow got ten BN MPs to sign SDs to support him as the PM.

Seen against the anti-hopping law, it was a novelty, or so it appeared, that these ten will remain as BN MPs so as not to trigger the provisions of the anti-hopping law but continue to support someone from the outside of the coalition to be the PM.

Amboi, when I heard that, I was thinking to myself that even legal eagles like Sri Ram (hats off to you Sir) too has to go back to law school to learn what he may have missed out - may be I will call it "treachery" in law. My mother used to say when you learn the wrong things in life and teach these wrong things to others, why should you be surprised that these very people use that against you?

Hail it or hate it, that is what political wisdom is in Malaysia. It shouldn't be so dificult for Fahysal to understand this. The gentleman of politics died with the great Tun Hussein Onn. Malaya/Malaysia gifted a man of conscience in Tunku as a PM but Razak strayed very far away from that and once Mahathir took hold, that conscience was crucified at the altar of racial politics. This country lost its soul.

Kepala Tak Centre : Wan Fayshal, do you think the people were extremely happy and rejoiced when Bersatu left PH and caused the collapse of PH government?

mosquitobrain : Hey dude Wan Fayhsal, life simple philosophy, 'do not doeth unto others, if you do not want others to doeth unto you'. Felt disappointed? No, not yet. More to come your way.

One Malaysian : Oh so whn your president won on ph ticket and betrayed the rakyat mandate was perfectly ok? Dun be a hypocrite la mister money printer!

alamak negaraku : Now you feel the disappointment?. Have you forgotten what you did to PH after GE14. That is the risk you have to take when dealing with kataks.. in this case, katak vs katak.
