Malaysiakini : Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is “almost certain” to join Prime
Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s cabinet as one of the deputy prime ministers.
An
Umno source has revealed that the Bagan Datuk MP has been nominated to
take up the post, in line with his position as party leader. "Almost certainly the Umno president is deputy prime minister, that's all I can say, God willing," he told Malaysiakini.
However, sources did not reveal which ministry was proposed for Zahid to lead. Before this, speculations were rife that Zahid would fill the DPM
post that was dedicated to BN as the main coalition partner of the new
government.
Even some party leaders such as Umno supreme council member Mohd Razlan Rafii felt that Zahid should be given the position to stabilise the government. Yesterday, former Umno secretary-general Annuar Musa stated that cabinet positions should follow the party hierarchy and that the prime minister should not take Umno's support lightly.
Earlier this morning, Anwar appeared before the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, who is believed to have been presented with the new cabinet line-up.
Vulcan King : PN cybertroopers will comment left and right attacking PM Annuar for including Zahid in the cabinet as they are angry with him for derailing their plot to take over the Federal government.
Just ignore anyone against on your decision as stupid and traitors and let them go fly kites in Kelantsn or Trengganu with Hadi and 1st back door chief in Johor. Zahid and UMNO in particular really taught the party totally compromised with FROGS a lesson they will never forget. Zahid and UMNO senior members are in fullstop.
Gerard Lourdesamy : I welcome Zahid's appointment as DPM1. It will ensure that the government remains strong and stable. Only Zahid can control Umno and BN effectively.
apanama is back : Now Zahid Hamidi is 'budak baik'. When KJ was talking about reforming UMNO Baru during his campaign trail at Sungai Buloh, I was thinking what reformasi was he talking about.
Now UMNO Baru could be already reformed by joining 'reformasi' Harapan as unity government. KJ, UMNO Baru 'sudah reform' and become 'budak baik'.
With Zahid's confirmed appointment as DPM will be known in next few hours, around evening, UMNO Baru is confirmed had been cleaned and no more corrupted.
Next time remember, ONE vote for Harapan is one vote for UMNO Baru and ONE vote for Anwar is ONE vote for Zahid.
My mantra of "Land of endless possibilities" will always proven right and correct, again and again.

However, what options do Anwar have when he need to appease all these fellows.
Yes, SECULAR Malaysia comes first and need to be saved. That is the first priority.
