Malaysiakini : COMMENT | What did we witness soon after GE15 and following the formation of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s new cabinet?
Much
had flowed under the bridge but one particular episode of gloom stood
out which has irked me and I’m sure, many others as well. It’s
unbelievable, seriously unthinkable too!
We have witnessed how
former top leaders acting like spoilt brats unashamedly went on a
fault-finding spree against Anwar and his new unity government. It was
typical of sour grapes.
We have a former prime minister, Muhyiddin
Yassin, who must have forgotten that he was once holding the most
powerful office of the land, spewing venom against every single Anwar
act since the latter took office on Nov 24.
Justice : PN (esp PAS and Bersatu) seemed to have unlimited campaign funds during GE15 and the Pulau Tioman and Padang Serai elections.
This clearly shows some tycoons or billionaires are financing them trying to stop Anwar from bcoming PM and his promised reforms from bcoming a reality which they are worried will affect their monopoly businesses, cartels and cronyism.
Surely they will continue to finance any opposition against Anwar in the days ahead. So why not closely monitor their actions, businesses, financial transactions and have appropriate actions taken. Otherwise they will continue their nefarious acts which will cause chaos, political and economic instability which inevitably will threaten our national security.
If China can also take action against big businesses which cause or threaten their national security why not Malaysia. Otherwise, the poor ordinary Malaysians will continue to be oppressed and suppressed by their control and manipulation of our govt, politic and economy.
