Malaysiakini : Perikatan Nasional chief Muhyiddin Yassin has accused Pakatan Harapan and the government of using police to silence dissent.
He also denied allegations that he had misappropriated RM600 billion during his tenure as prime minister. In a statement today, Muhyiddin (above)
said since becoming government, Harapan had not shied away from using
the police against leaders who are not aligned with them.
"This is a clear attempt at silencing dissent.
"It is vastly different than their promises of institutional reforms
to ensure major institutions such as the police are free of political
interference," he said in a statement. Muhyiddin cited a police
report lodged by Hulu Langat MP Sany Hamzan and accusations levelled by
Digital Communication Minister Fahmi Fadzil as examples.
He also
claimed that Fahmi had previously stated that Prime Minister Anwar
Ibrahim had ordered police to investigate PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang
over claims that the premier was an Israeli agent. Muhyiddin added the police then denied that they were investigating Hadi.
Kawak : Moohayadin you can denied "sakau" government funds just as Najib did. Wait, when the investigators go through the relevant documents and perform money trail you had it.
Un : PM pintu belakang Muhyiddin - you used the the anti corruption to investigate X PH leaders, it’s time the same medicine be applied to all opposition leaders who made slanderous statements on religious, race etc be investigated and charged. This is necessary to ensure slanderous statement has no place in Malaysian society.
JayWai : Spewing lies and making remarks/comments with the clear intention of creating dissent and stirring up anger among the rural folks against a ruling govt, is NOT civil liberties.
We the rakyat, are sick and tired of the games Mahiaddin and PAS are playing. We the rakyat have also not forgiven Mahiaddin for orchestrating the Sheraton Move
KK Voter : However, Muhyiddin said a considerable bulk of the RM530 billion in the stimulus was non-fiscal and was assistance in the form of Employee Provident Fund (EPF) withdrawals (RM145 billion), reduction in EPF contributions (RM10 billion) bank loan moratoriums (RM180 billion) and government guarantees for corporate loans (RM80 billion).
Finally admitting the MCO relief packages were mostly rakyat using their own money...
