sebulat suara meninggalkan Bersatu dan ahlinya akan menjadi ahli
Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) sementara parti baru ditubuhkan.
Hajiji
yang juga ketua menteri Sabah dan pengerusi GRS berkata keputusan itu
dibuat setelah mempertimbangkan keadaan landskap politik Malaysia ketika
ini, terutama di Sabah.
"Kerajaan Negeri yang ditunjangi oleh
GRS-BN juga telah mengambil kira nasihat Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri
Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong bahawa pertimbangan terbaik untuk
pembentukan kerajaan perpaduan Persekutuan yang diterajui Anwar Ibrahim
satu daripadanya adalah untuk kestabilan politik dan pemulihan ekonomi.
"Keputusan
sebulat suara ini adalah demi kepentingan Sabah, demi perpaduan dan
memenuhi hasrat serta aspirasi rakyat untuk kita terus berjuang di bawah
naungan sebuah parti tempatan," katanya.
