7th Rangers: Hadi asks if fair for World Cup referee to shift goal post for losers - Dey Hadi, you spew so much manure that it's virtually impossible to breath

The Fighting Rangers On War, Politics and Burning Issues
Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Hadi asks if fair for World Cup referee to shift goal post for losers - Dey Hadi, you spew so much manure that it's virtually impossible to breath

Malaysiakini : It appears World Cup fever has hit PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang,
who made some pointed remarks today that some might view as political
commentary.
In a statement, he said at all stages of football
competition, be it at a village or at the ongoing World Cup, there are
rules to abide by - including for injury time or when there is a draw. He said injury time, for example, is added if a player is really injured and needs to be taken off the field.
Substitutions between players, Hadi said, also follow rules that are respected by all sides. However, he asked what if injury time is given not because of an injury or a draw. "Even
though the results have a win for one side, there are points and goals,
suddenly the referee adds (injury) time to give a chance to those who
have clearly lost so that they can win with whatever means…
"What would the spectators watching it live or through broadcasts, say? "Islam
mandates that its followers act fairly in all matters, from being in a
family to a society or country in all matters, including in sports,"
Hadi said.
Here is a sampling of two comments
Sun : This Lebai has been making statements openly or, he thinks, subtly, that is seditious and is likely to cause public alarm. Yet he has not been pulled up by the law. Beginning from his comment about non- Malays being the root of corruption to now indirectly hit at the King for, in his view, not playing according to the rules of the game.
To imply the King appointed a loser to be a winner is the height of insolence especially when the claim is patently untrue! PH had more seats than PN and the king gave the PH candidate the chance to form a government and made a perfectly legitimate call for unity and stability. BN responded and PN did not. Soon others followed and Anwar became PM.
How is that being unfair? And the fact that Tok Lebai voted in full PAS regalia remains an election offense no matter which referee looks at it. It’s time to put everyone in their place so they don’t grow too big for their shoes and upset national unity and stability by their irrational rants.
Vijay47 : I am surprised that Hadi Awang even knows of the ongoing World Cup. His life-long achievement so far has been to ensure that the failed states his PAS governs are firmly entrenched beneath the coconut shell and remain at best jaguh kampungs.
However, it is possible that the name Qatar may ring a faint bell, not a whistle, since it is in the Middle East, the region in which Hadi Awang is supposed to be working to justify the generous remuneration he enjoys as Special Envoy.
You want to use the World Cup as the benchmark of fairness? If PAS were ever to organize one, which of course would be destined to be a total failure, it would be open only to Muslim nations; non-Muslims can stand outside the stadium walls and listen to the sounds emanating from inside.
They of course have to pay full ticket-price.
And far from being a colourful festive celebration, women at Hadi Awang’s tournament would be required to follow the matches from walled enclosures. And no nonsense like cheeks coloured in the flags of the nations they support.
Meanwhile back on the field itself, the referee, his assistants, and the VAR operators all need to be Muslims – again, no nonsense about women-officials. Where non-Muslims, like PAS associate members, are allowed to participate, their teams should comprise not more than 7 players.
Without a goalkeeper.
No, Hadi Awang, the World Cup is a poor analogy for you to use. You will get a red card even before you step onto the pitch.
