Negeri Sembilan GTA proposes ex-IGP Hamid to face Tok Mat in Rembau By Hariz Mohd

Malaysiakini : The Negeri Sembilan chapter of Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) has nominated
Abdul Hamid Bador to contest the Rembau parliamentary seat, where the
former top cop would be facing Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan.
State
GTA deputy chairperson Mohamad Jani Ismail was quoted by a Malay daily
as saying that they have submitted the names of the former
inspector-general of police (IGP) to the coalition’s top leadership for
Hamid to contest in the forthcoming 15th general election.
Alongside Hamid (above, right), the state chapter also submitted film director Ahmad Idham Ahmad Nadzri's name as a potential candidate for the Port Dickson parliamentary seat, which is currently being held by opposition chief Anwar Ibrahim.
