Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Harapan is our real foe..
So says Takyuddin, not robinson crusoe...
A novel by author, trader, spy, Daniel Defoe....
When ge15 around, Ummah is for him to grow....
His credentials shaken ,its time for political glow....
To call PH an enemy shows his brain did slow....
Politics is lying....better play tic tac toe - Loga
Malaysiakini : PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan reminded his party that their
"real" political enemies are Pakatan Harapan and its "big tent" allies,
not BN.
Takiyuddin (above), in a statement today, said PAS believes a coalition that brings together the ummah (Muslim community) is the most effective formula to foster national unity.
He also claimed it was a strategy that most voters would accept with regard to forming a government that cares for the rakyat. "PAS
is optimistic that only political cooperation among the main
Malay-Muslim parties can deter us from facing multi-cornered fights in
the 15th general election (GE15)," he said.
Further, he urged the parties that currently form the federal government
to continue working together for GE15, in order to form a stable
government.
Proof of pudding always in the eating : No surprises here. PAS only following as Zakir Naik & Hadi preached that corrupt muslims are preferable. This is the only thing that PAS can contribute. Religion, religion and more religion. No solutions to any problems facing the country. Hopefully the rural Malays will come to their senses and put this wretched party to sleep come GE15. The urban Malays already see the light.
RR : Every time when General Election is nearing PAS must talk of Ummah, Malay Unity and Religion . After the GE they will fight for minister posts and other GLC position with the coalition. Many Islamic countries are changing for better. Dubai, Indonesia and others are fast changing.
In Iran the women throwing away the hijab in revolt. In reality there cannot be just ONE religion for the world world. Christians did that by colonizing other countries but failed with the advent of Islam propagating Ummah for the last 1400 years. People are well informed in this era of information technology and knowledge .
Politicians can no longer hoodwink the people of any race.. PAS leaders should preach good values of Islam like compassion, mercy, live and let live to win the hearts and minds of the people than condemning " our foe is Harappan...not BN or UMNO or PN"
Is Harappan such an insidious party because it is so highly corrupted and bankrupted the country as we see it today.? Even in criticising be fair and factual.
KAJANG PRISONER : So your party is always a fan of "Dedak Lovers Club" ? Once you've itchy fingers, no medication can help you ! The only cure is to get those itchy fingers chopped!
OrangeJaguar9341 : Yup - you're right, Takiyuddin. Corruption is your buddy. Racism, your badge of honour. Religious bigotry, your banner. Feudalism, your weapon. And a cowed populace your tool.
For PAS, the real enemy is any coalition that aims to stem corruption, plug leakages, reform the integrity of institutions, revolutionaise education, champion true multiracialism and equality for all Malaysians, and usher us into a progressive and brighter future.
ManOnTheStreet : MR Takiyuddin, you are wrong. Your real foe are the sensible and right thinking rakyat in Malaysia. Those who see though your falsehood and hypocrisy. Those who see your party as the spreader of fitnah while hiding under the umbrella of religion.
You may succeed in spreading your lies among the poor ignorant folk who live under you. But for the knowledgeable Muslims and Non-Muslims, we see right though your falsehood. And as you have been given prominent positions this time around, it has exposed your poor skills, poor knowledge and incapability . . . . all of which more and more rakyat are becoming aware of. So good!
Keep opening your mouth and spewing your brand of hatred and racism. Please don't stop. Because the power of the vote is NOT in the hands of PH which you so despise. The power is in OUR hands . . . . . the voters. Fear US, the rakyat!
