1 Jul 2022 : ISIS documents refer to India as the only country conquered by Islam which did not convert to it.
Spain not only did not convert to Islam: Spain expelled every single Muslim from its territory. It took Spain 800 years to achieve that. There were many areas that they attacked and conquered but eventually thrown out -Spain and Portugal yes but also large areas of France were occupied but eventually defeated.
The great island of Sicily was Islamic for over 200 years but reconquered by the Normans as were large areas of southern Italy.And of course Greece and the Balkans and large areas of what is now Russia-occupied by Ottoman Turks and Tartars.
Liberation movements in Greece and the Balkans saw Turks expelled in early 19th century. Even Hungary was Turkish for over 200 years until they were expelled by the Austrians.
It is continuing in rest of India and will continue in future, there will definitely be a fight back.
