Satan. The stoning is a gesture of utter contempt for and horror at the
“idolatry” that the Catholic procession represents in their view.
It is
not, as they see it, a simple act of thuggery; it is an affirmation of
their adherence to monotheism and a rejection of what is evil.
What will Spain look like in five years? Ten? How long before Catholic processions are banned by authorities?

A group of refugees from the
Bermúdez de Castro refugee center in Granada disrupted the procession of
Our Christ of the Passion and Our Lady of the Star in the early hours
of Holy Thursday, as confirmed to OKDIARIO Andalusia by various sources
from both the Brotherhood and the Vox Municipal Group, whose members
also paraded. Fortunately, quick police action averted a disaster.
Total
outrage in Granada. When the procession had been in procession for
about an hour and a half, at the time they were going through the Cuesta
del Chapiz, a large number of objects began to fall on those present.
These all came from the aforementioned refugee center, as confirmed by
the sources.
In fact, the leader of Vox Granada, Onofre Miralles,
has condemned the events through his social networks: “Yesterday I had
the honor of accompanying the Passion and Star in her Penitence Station.
They informed me that objects were thrown at the procession from the
Menas Bermúdez de Castro center.
They are against our culture and
against our tradition. I demand action from the Junta de Andalucía.”
