Robert Spencer : On Wednesday, April 6, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) delivered a fierce speech
in the House of Representatives describing the “plight” of Muslims in
India and their supposed ill-treatment at the hands of the ruling party,
the Bharatiya Janata Party, which is led by Indian Prime Minister
Narendra Modi.
Someone who is oblivious regarding Indian politics may
have been convinced by the many allegations Omar leveled at Modi. She is
fluent and articulate. However, those who are well versed regarding
India’s political scene were quick to see her diatribe for what it
really was: a mad rant, driven by her Islamic agenda, founded upon
hollow claims, and supported by false plots.
