It is also the soldier who was paid the least and gets a pathetic pension, why do you want to begrudge them?
Banyak netizen mengulas apabila YAB Perdana Menteri Malaysia menyentuh Bebanan Kewangan Kerajaan terpaksa tanggung kerana pembayaran emolumen dan pencen kepada penjawat awam.
Antara komen Netizen yang paling terbaik dibaca ialah tulisan ini:
"Bayaran Pencen yang paling membebankan Kerajaan sebenarnya ialah kepada Ahli Politik, iaitu lebih tinggi Elaun daripada gaji!
Khususnya jawatan PM, TPM, MB, KM, Menteri, Exco, Ahli Parlimen dan Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri.
Sepatutnya mereka bukan Penjawat Awam dan hilang kelayakan daripada menerima skim pencen kerana hanya memegang jawatan selama 60 bulan.
Mereka sepatutnya tidak layak menerima pencen penuh, berbanding dengan Kakitangan Awam yang perlu bekerja selama 240 bulan untuk memenuhi syarat dapat menerima pencen.
Cuba lihat contoh emolumen untuk seorang Menteri Kabinet:
1) Gaji asas = RM18,000
2) Elaun Keraian = RM10,500
3) Elaun perumahan = RM10,800
4) Elaun Rakyat = RM10,650
5) Elaun tempat letak kereta = RM10,650
5) Sebenarnya mereka tidak membayar untuk meletak kenderaan itu, kerana menggunakan kenderaan rasmi. Selain itu, Kerajaan juga terpaksa membayar emolumen sebanyak RM16,000 sebulan kepada 222 ahli Dewan Rakyat dan RM11,000 sebulan kepada 70 ahli Dewan Negara.
Bayangkan setiap pilihanraya (sekali setiap 5 tahun) wakil yang dipilih berubah dan mereka semua hidup lama, berapa kos pencen untuk bekas wakil yang dipilih?
Ini lebih membazir dan membebankan berbanding Penjawat Awam yang rendah seperti pembantu umum Gred 11 dengan gaji hanya RM1,216 dan selepas berkhidmat lebih dari 30 tahun, gajinya adalah serendah RM2,983. Jadi pencen hanya berjumlah RM1,491.50 sebulan selama 15 tahun (selepas usia 60 tahun). jika kita mengambil jangka hayat rakyat Malaysia sehingga 75 tahun.
Nota 1: Elaun Parking Kenderaan Menteri lebih tinggi daripada Gaji Gred 44!
Nota 2: Jika gaji gred terendah pekerja kerajaan adalah RM1,500 termasuk elaun maka gaji seorang menteri bersamaan dengan 37 pembantu umum Gred 11.
Ahli-ahli politik yang memegang Jawatan, kononnya untuk membela nasib rakyat, sebenarnya mereka hanya mempertahankan nasib mereka sendiri.
Ini mesti diperbetulkan.
Ini belum termasuk Ahli Politik yang mengambil kesempatan daripada peluang-peluang lain untuk membuat keuntungan.
