For today's politicians, the treaty is becoming a millstone. That contract proved to be a millstone around his neck.

Delivering
his debate during the Umno General Assembly today, the Kelantan
delegate claimed his party’s leaders have never labelled or ridiculed
PAS leaders. This is in contrast, he said, to PAS leaders insulting and labelling them, such as calling them a “lame duck”.
Malaysiakini :Bukit Rakit assemblyperson Bazlan Abd Rahman has urged Umno not to be afraid of immediately ending their cooperation with PAS under Muafakat Nasional (MN) as it is clear PAS themselves no longer wants to continue working with Umno.
Umno should not continue to linger on in this cooperation, he said, as PAS to Umno is just like “scabies that will become cancerous” that should be removed as soon as possible.
Scabies (Paksa Awak Suci Aka PAS) is a very itchy skin condition caused by tiny mites that burrow into your skin.
“At the grassroots level of Umno in Terengganu, they clearly want MN to end. To them, what is the point of keeping these scabies that will become cancerous?
“If we already know this disease is fatal, why are we still delaying curing it? The miracle cure would be to end our political relationship with PAS. End MN immediately. That is what PAS is waiting for themselves. More here............
