The Soldier stood and faced God

Ini adalah gambaran rekabentuk Gereja St. Peter's Parish yang terletak di Padungan.
Ketika ini projek pembinaan gereja yang bernilai RM37 Juta ini sedang rancak dijalankan. Jika siap dibina nanti, gereja ini akan menjadi 1 lagi mercu tanda yang penting di Kuching dan Sarawak.
Apa yang menariknya reka bentuk gereja baru itu berdasarkan seni bina Gothic dengan tingkap kaca berwarna.
Gereja ini dan kawasan luarnya akan mempunyai sebuah dewan serbaguna, pejabat dua tingkat, asrama lapan tingkat, kolabrium dua tingkat, 300 ruang letak kereta dan sebuah plaza.Gereja ini juga akan memiliki menara tajam, gerbang āogivalā, tingkap mawar, jubin lantai istimewa dan sebuah menara loceng.
Ia memiliki kapasiti untuk menempatkan lebih 1,000 jemaah dalam satu masa.
