Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Zemmour says he’ll ban ‘cathedral-like mosques’ so ‘France remains a landscape of churches’ By Robert Spencer

Jihad Watch : If a political figure in Asia, Africa, or South America said something
similar about wanting to preserve the cultural integrity of his country,
he would be applauded. If he said he wanted to preserve the native
culture against Western influence, he would be hailed as a hero. Only in
Europe and North America is such talk “racist” and “xenophobic.”
“Presidential election 2022: Zemmour wants to ban ‘cathedral mosques’
so that ‘France remains a landscape of churches,’” translated from
“Présidentielle 2022 : Zemmour veut interdire les “mosquées cathédrales”
pour que “la France reste un paysage d’églises”,” Valeurs Actuelles, February 10, 2022 (thanks to Medforth):
About twenty French citizens took
part in the second episode of “France in sight,” Wednesday February 9,
on the set of BFM TV. Asked about his program, but also about current
events, Éric Zemmour answered their questions and those asked by Bruce
Toussaint. Faced with Karim, a Frenchman of Muslim faith, the candidate
of Reconquest! in the presidential election defended the idea that the
country should welcome churches rather than mosques, “for cultural
reasons.” The author of La France n’a pas dit son dernier mot (France has not yet spoken its last word)
has also signified his intention to ban “cathedral mosques,” so that
“France remains a landscape of churches,” if he were elected president.
“The conquest of a French territory”
“In
France, I don’t want to hear the voice of the muezzin,” Zemmour said
before rejecting the construction of cathedral-like mosques, which he
said were too big, the news channel reported. He also judged that for
“some Muslims” large mosques meant “conquering a French territory”. He
continued, “Muslims will of course be able to go to the mosque.” In this
context, he referred to “more discreet” buildings.
During the
same evening, the former Le Figaro journalist was also asked about the
migration issue. He promised a man who called on him to deploy “border
guards” at European borders: “It is planned, we will deploy the tools.”
Following this statement, Éric Zemmour disclosed that he would “support
the idea of building walls on the borders of the European Union” and
praised the various initiatives taken by a number of countries such as
Hungary. He said that these initiatives “defend European civilization,”
but are rejected by other states such as France or Germany.
He concluded
by saying, “I will tip the majority in Europe in favor of the fortress
wall!”
