Rudyard Kipling"
āWhen you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldierā
General Douglas MacArthur"
āWe are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.ā
āIt is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.ā āOld soldiers never die; they just fade away.
āThe soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.ā
āMay God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .ā āThe object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
āNobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
āIt is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
In France, a Muslim quoted Qurāan while raping his victim. A survivor of a Muslim rape gang in the UK has said that
her rapists would quote the Qurāan to her, and believed their actions
justified by Islam. Thus it came as no surprise when Muslim migrants in
France raped a girl and videoed the rape while praising Allah and invoking the Qurāan.
In India, a Muslim gave a Qurāan and a prayer rug to the woman he was holding captive and repeatedly raping. And the victim of an Islamic State jihadi rapist recalled:
āHe told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an
unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to Godā¦He
said that raping me is his prayer to God.ā In India,
a Muslim kidnapped and raped a 14-year-old Hindu girl, and forced her
to read the Qurāan and Islamic prayers.
In Pakistan, another Christian
woman recounted that
her rapist was also religious: āHe threw me on the bed and started to
rape me. He demanded I marry him and convert to Islam. I refused. I am
not willing to deny Jesus and he said that if I would not agree he would
kill me.ā Rapists demanded that another girlās family turn her over to
them, claiming that she had recited the Islamic profession of faith during the rape and thus could not live among infidels.
The Qurāan teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for
sexual use (cf. its allowance for a man to take ācaptives of the right
hand,ā 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). The Qurāan says: āO Prophet,
tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to
bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more
suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah
Forgiving and Merciful.ā (33:59) The implication there is that if women
do not cover themselves adequately with their outer garments, they may
be abused, and that such abuse would be justified.
However, anyone who points all this out will be excoriated as a āracistā and an āIslamophobe,ā and accordingly ignored. ā20-year-old harassed several young women in Freiburgās old town,ā
